I like how mysterious this story is and how strangely its described. Its very confusing and is not too detailed it repeats a lot of stuff. I feel its sad and deep he seems to have lost his wife. There is a lot of different ways this story could go.

When I watched the poem, I felt kind of sad by the way the man was talking and how the was poem drawn. After the facts about him and his wife being ill, I had a thought that "The Raven" was a poem for his wife that was ill. I think he was lonely without his wife. And maybe he thought it was his fault that his wife was ill and now he wants to die.

I enjoyed this poem because of how unusual and mysterious it was. Throughout the poem, the author develops a character and what happened to him. His wife seemed to have died which adds to how weird it is.
The line "Presently my soul grew stronger: hesitating no longer" is one of the easier lines to figure out. It means that he gathered up enough courage to find out what was tapping on his door.

My favorite part of the poem is the mystery behind the beauty. The word "nevermore" can mean many things, but we don't know the true meaning. Also, the raven can mean many things as well. Such as the lady that he was talking about or a demon that wants to take his soul starting from the inside. And because of the strange events like the raven and the knocking at his door, there is even more mystery added to the story.
