Using 5 vocab. words from your [Vocab. 681-690 set {travail --> colloquy}], answer the following questions about "Teenagers and Chores." (1.) Why should teenagers contribute to their households? (2.) What's wrong with letting parents take care of everything (ex: cleaning after everyone/pets, paying rent/mortgage/bills, cooking meals, taking out trash, doing laundry, maintaining the patio/yard, washing the car, disciplining kids, making sure homework is done, etc.)? (3.) What does having chores teach teenagers? What does having chores/taking responsibility teach you as a young adult? (4.) Name the chores you help your parents/guardians with and explain why you help out. (5.) How can you contribute more around the house? Can you commit to consistently helping your parents/guardians maintain your living space (keeping your room clean, entertaining/cleaning after your pets, completing your homework everyday)? // Reminder: your parents work to provide for you, buy you the things you need, and put you through private education to ensure you are learning in a safe environment, and it is only fair if you do your part now that you are a young adult (even if you have a maid/even if you are well off).

1. Teenagers should contribute to their households because taking responsibility for their chores is important skills they need to learn in order to be successful in their futures. We aren't vacuous (adj.) teenagers, we know how to do the tasks we just refuse to do it. And the parents shouldn't have to do more on their part. They already do enough for us everyday. We should just help to make their tasks and lives more easier.
2. If we let parents take care of everything they will get too overwhelmed and it will take away time to do things as a family like going out for dinner. They need a break and if you could do the very least of making your bed or tidying up your room you could save them 10-20 mines and potentially make their life so much simpler. And gain the opportunity to do more as family sense you're all working as a team. This will definitely exhilarate (v.) them. I know my mom gets pretty overwhelmed with cooking so some nights I make dinner.
3. Having chores teaches teenagers basic domestic "survival skills" that will help the teens to successfully live separately from their parents when that time comes. This also adds to their sense of self-reliance and general confidence. It can also foster self-discipline and help the teens to prepare to be responsible roommates.
Having chores/taking responsibility teaches me as a young adult to prepare for when i'm on my own in the world.
4. I help with making my bed, cleaning my room, washing/folding my clothes, mowing the lawn. I help out with this because I know it saves time for my parents.
5. I can contribute more by helping more frequently than just a few times a week. And probably by participating in more tasks.

1) It is important for teens to contribute around the house because it provides them with experiences that will give them proper skills for when they live in their own house or with a roommate.
2) Letting parents do everything can become a travail for the parents, having to work a hard job all day, just to come home and have to do tasks around the house as well.
3) Having chores teaches teens a work-ethic, and provides them with a sense of life after high school. Doing laundry could teach a teen basics of taxonomy, by sorting clothes.
4)I help my parents around the house by mowing the lawn, cleaning the dishes, and cleaning around the house, even when my parents are cavil about my cleaning.
5) I can contribute more around the house by not letting it get to the point where my parents have to goad me into completing my chores

The parents feel like their teens are messy after they eat or leave their room a mess.
3. To not be the messy roommate in college.
4. Take the garbage and recycle.

1.Teenagers should help in their households because their parents worked hard for all the things that they have and they should be able to at least help around the house.
2. If parents were to take care of everything then teens will not learn responsibility and will not be ready to go into the real world.
3. Having chores teaches teens to have responsibility. It teaches them that their parents are not always there for them.
4.I help my parents by keeping my room clean, making my bed, keeping bathroom clean and help set up dinner table.
5.I believe I am doing my part around the house because my two brothers have chores and it correlates with my chores.

1. This topic is not brought up in colloquy, but I believe teenagers should contribute to their households because it is good practice for future independence.
2. There are problems correlated with allowing parents to take care of everything, such as making a child helpless when he or she goes out on his or her own.
3. Chores help prevent teenagers from being vacuous when it comes to yard work and chores. It teaches a teen responsibility and strategic skills.
4. I help my parents with all forms of travail yard work, cleaning, car work, and any kind of handy man job there might be at my house. I help out because I enjoy making things to perfection.
5. I could help out more by being more consistent in doing a couple chores that i never have any verve to complete willingly.

Young people should add to their families since it is important to learn fundamental undertakings in a family.
2.Teenagers wont learn obligation and with regards to the time where their folks aren't there to enable them they to will be confused.
3.It shows them obligation and time administration aptitudes
4. I do the yard work, take out the junk, and wash the autos. It helps my folks out in light of the fact that they are occupied and on the off chance that I didn't do it then they would need to pay another person to.
5. I trust that I contribute reliably at this moment and keep up the tasks that are provide for me.

1. Doing chores is not travail. Doing chores helps them become responsible and clean in the future.
2. Kids cavil when their parents make them do chores. If parents always do it for them, how are they going to know what to do when they are older, or what to do.
3. Doing chores won't make them a vacuous student. It will make them become independent, and a young adult.
4. I help hang some of the pendulous clothes, and let them air dry. I also walk my dog, wash the dishes, and put the laundry away.
5. My parents and I can have a colloquy, and we can talk about what chores I can do to help. I can put the dishes away, help with the laundry, and help wash my dog.
