A - Food additives are chemicals added to foods to keep them fresh or to enhance their colour, flavour or texture. However, certain people will have allergic reaction while consuming it. It is necessary to read the label at the packaging before consume it.

A(1) - The best chemical preservation method to be used is hurdle technology. Which combining various bacteria-killing factors to achieve a safe product with acceptable shelf life and acceptable taste and consistency.

A(2) - Advantages

1. Reduce food waste

2. Cause the death of microorganisms or slow down their growth

3. Delay rancidity

4. A new cost effective method

A(3) - Disadvantages

1. Increase risk of cancer and other illness

2. May contribute to hyperactivity in some children

So excited to do this lab. Everything need to be done thoroughly. Otherwise, you may lay in your bed for whole day ~_~

At this date, we are given the task to do the explorace activity around the faculty. It so exciting because we need to move around and find the materials that involved the fermentation. We are so lucky to have food festival at the same time. And here we found dough for the corndog. We also interview a student to find out what their thought about the food fermentation. We also need to update the padlet in order to complete this task <3
