Women's increasing demand for education, for jobs and society's declining fertility rate. Fertility begins to decline after age 32, with a more significant

decline occurring between ages 35 and 37. (According to

Health Canada, 91 percent of women can get pregnant at age

30. At age 35, that number drops to 77 percent, and by age 40,

it’s 53 percent.) When they do become pregnant, older women

are at a greater risk for miscarriage and complications in

childbirth, and their chances of having a child with a genetic

disorder, such as Down syndrome, are also higher.

Insist on having children, because childless people are more likely to end up in nursing homes. Her conclusion: "There is no guarantee that having children will make you happy and not having them will make you sad. Therefore, more and more people will choose to have children, which is also a guarantee for their old age. So it should be on the rise.

People may be affected by the decline in fertility rates because of the amount of money needed to support raising children, with data reporting that daycare costs across the country (Canada) have risen 8% since 2014, more than three times the rate of inflation. And in the southern U.S., the latest estimates from the Department of Agriculture say a middle-income married couple will spend $250,200 (U.S.) to raise a child born in 2015. That's a total of $13,900 per year from their birth to age 18. In Canada, two years ago MoneySense magazine estimated the annual cost at $13,366.
And compared to young people's wages, says Paul Kershaw, a professor at the University of British Columbia, "In 1976, it took people five years of full-time work to save a 20 percent down payment for an average house, and now it takes more than 13 years from coast to coast. So we can make a small extrapolation that most young people today can't afford to support huge amounts of money for upbringing.
"Once you have two children ...... in Toronto, it's not uncommon for you to pay $30,000 a year for childcare," Macdonald said. So, based on where the data is headed, we can assume that in the future, fertility rates will most likely be affected by economic pressures, as the amount of money people need to raise a child in today's society will only increase.

I think fewer people will have children and they will age later. The article notes that in most countries, as more and more women pursue higher education and their classmates enter the workforce in large numbers, they may resort to delaying childbearing. But there are also greater risks associated with delaying childbearing, such as a higher risk of genetic diseases in their children. So I think there will probably be fewer babies. Metropolitan women, however, rely on various forms of birth control to plan their lives like birth control pills or iUds. It also means that many women are reluctant to have children. A third issue affecting women's reproductive health in Canada may be the approval of drugs for abortion that increase women's access to much-needed abortion care and the number of providers willing to provide women with a variety of options. So with all these conveniences and good medical care, the number of people who have children may decrease.
