         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. I am interested in Chinese because I've been living in China for a long time now and I think I never had a chance to actually learn what's going on around in this country. Also I want to use the Chinese skills I've acquired in the past years to do something meaningful out of it.<br><br>2. I'm interested in researching about the effects of technological advancements or globalization on the people's daily lives.<br><br>3. For example, there is a mobike phenomenon at the moment with more and more people using bikes as a form of transportation. I want to research something similar, how such trends or phenomenons impact peoples lives.<br><br>4. I will first look around to find an appropriate topic, and research in Chinese to determine whether or not the topic is worth diving into. I will also conduct surveys for my EE.<br><br>5.
