I am interested in Chinese because I've been living in China for a long time now and I think I never had a chance to actually learn what's going on around in this country. Also I want to use the Chinese skills I've acquired in the past years to do something meaningful out of it.

2. I'm interested in researching about the effects of technological advancements or globalization on the people's daily lives.

3. For example, there is a mobike phenomenon at the moment with more and more people using bikes as a form of transportation. I want to research something similar, how such trends or phenomenons impact peoples lives.

4. I will first look around to find an appropriate topic, and research in Chinese to determine whether or not the topic is worth diving into. I will also conduct surveys for my EE.
