         <description><![CDATA[<div>DNA replication is where DNA copies itself. Protein synthesis is where RNA turns to protein. The difference is the product. In DNA replication the product is the same as the reactant (DNA) just a different quantity, which is just <em>replication</em>. Protein synthesis has a difference reactant to the product, The reactant is DNA and the product is RNA, which is also known as <em>transcription</em>. Then the RNA is changed to a protein soon after which is known as translation</div>]]></description>
