For the first time in our school system we have a designated week to tackle the Enviroment issues, called The Green Week. So, we have used this time to study more consciously the main problems of the environment and Earth's problems, starting locally. Apart from the activities we had to do at school, we also concentrated on the following activities:

       I represented the Ocean and marine life that has to live in it. You can see how everything that is on the surface affects what is below us and next to us. For example, in one of the drawings there is an octopus that aspires to a clean life from the ray of hope, but it is drawning. It has a spear in its hand that it is trying to deliberate itself to the land of HOPE (an Utopia that could exist), but it doesn't succeed because of a net that keeps it stuck in the pollution. Also a whale that tries to escape from the pollution, but only manages to get a breath of fresh air and is forced to go back.

 

 

On fifth day  we did activities about healthy food as drawings, talking about a good and healthy life but also a very fun activity : we sold healthy foods in our school! 

We also have a special week during the school year named “Different school” in which we do games and activities with the other classmates and all the teachers. In that week we sold a lot of sweets, cakes, mini pizzas, pasta and more delicious foods, so with the occasion of green school we wanted to keep our tradition and sell more food to have more fun together. We sold fruits, fruit salad and healthy sweets. We had so much fun with the other classes, made a lot of beautiful memories that we won`t forget easily and made some easy money doing something we like! The most important detail is that everyone liked everything. Not only us, but also the teachers!

At school our teacher, Andreea Kulcsar, gave us so many bags and plastics to make something out of them. All of them were gathered during the school year and we found out that they were from our plastic bin, made in a previous activity. At first, I made a dress with the bags for my classmate.Then we made flowers out of the bags,but then I remembered when I had to make my dress out of recycled things it was too simple, so I thought it would be cuter if I will make some paper flowers to decorate it. The flowers were made out of book pages,but at home I made other types of flowers and I brought them at school.

The next day, Andreea teacher sent us some ideas of vases for flowers and we picked the one with the cats. We recycled water bottles and made the cats and I think they turned out good, then we put flowers in them.

At school we had so many card-boards and we didn’t know what to do with them, we searched out on the internet and we found a train out of card-boards and we decided to make it. It was so hard at first and we didn't know were to start,but we didn't give up and continued to make it, the whole process took about 2 hours or more and  in the end we decided to put the paper flowers and it turned out so cute, we were so proud.

I think we should start to recycled more and take care of our planet, because we all want to have a healthy and beautiful planet.

 

Anastasia, Awareness Circle

      After the end of the parades, the places were determined and the diplomas were determined. At the same time, all the children voted for their preferences and thus the diplomas established by the teachers and the popularity prize were awarded.

     Based on the photos taken, I collected them and made a video.

      We divided into several groups and we started in our village divided as we were. We did this activity as a contest and thus we took the garbage that maybe even we once threw on the ground. At the end, several dozens of bags were collected, which were then picked up by the services that deal with garbage collection in our commune.

         I collected all the pictures and made a video with this activity carried out by the school.
