In 1962, USSR was given permission to install soviet missiles in cuban territory just 90 miles away from the U.S.A.. U.S.A didn't like this so they planned blockade and would use military force if necessary. Combat was avoided after kennedy agreed with Nikita Khrushchev’s offer that the cuban missiles will be removed as long as the U.S.A. doesn't invade Cuba. Kennedy also agreed to removed missiles from Turkey.

The Cuban Missile Crisis was the USSR's fault because they had no reason to install nuclear missiles in Cuba so close to U.S. Shores. This was even worse for the U.S. because the leader of Cuba was a communist who over through Cuba and rid the Country of American business men. The U.S. had no other option but to take action and suppress this major threat.

Vietnam War also called the second Indochina War, taking place between 1955 and 1975. Vietnam Was was a war that US sent the most troops, spent the most money, had the most casualties, and was involved for the longest period of time after WWII. In essence, Vietnam War was between Republic of Vietnam supported by NATO and US and North Vietnam supported by the Soviet Union. As a result, the government of the Republic of Vietnam was overthrown, and the United States lost the war. After the war, Vietnam unified and became the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The was started was because the United States regard the North Vietnam as a huge threat because it's communism; President Eisenhower was fearful that the socialism and communism existing in southeast Asia would undermine the capitalism; the United States wanted to help the Republic of Vietnam take out the North Vietnam. However, the Soviet Union played a huge role of advocating the North Vietnam to counter the United States; the Soviet Union didn't actually fight the war. Thus, the United States should take more responsibility relatively.

Yalta Conference was a conference that was between The Great Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill, The United States' President Franklin Roosevelt, and The Soviet Union's Supreme Leader Joseph Stalin, taking place in Yalta, Soviet Union, in February, 1945, focusing on settling post-war issues. Some examples are issues about Germany, Poland, and the establishment of United Nations.
Generally speaking, Yalta Conference set the tone for the post-war settlement and reinforced the principle of anti-Nazism; three leaders have reached agreements of keeping working together closely and strongly to completely destroy Nazis around the world.

Yalta Conference was hosted by the Soviet Union; the conference basically determined the existences of two superpowers after WWII: The Soviet Union and The United States. Roosevelt strongly proposed to form an organization of "United Nations". In terms of proportion, both the Soviet Union and the United States should take the same amount of responsibility for solving the post-war issues.

NATO is a truly important strategic organization between the US and other countries in West Europe and North America. The NATO provided them with a great platform to cooperate with each other militarily and strategically. The reason that the US decided to establish NATO was to form a legit league for nations that hoped to work together to counter the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Treaty Organization later. The existence of NATO allow those countries to provide backups and military aids to each other.

Chinese Revolution is technically a period from year of 1927 to 1949. The revolution was about to overthrow the corrupt Chinese Nationalist Government and to form a democratic, farmers and workers centered and republic government in China. The revolution was led by Chinese Communists led by Mao Zedong, who later became the first president of the People's Republic of China; the revolution was countered by the Chinese Nationalists led by Chiang Kai Shek.
Due to the Japanese invasion, both Chinese Communist and Nationalist decided to fight together against the Japanese. After the victory of World War II, Chiang Kai Shek signed the October 10th. Agreement with other Democratic parties within China to agree to establish a democratic government. Later in August 1945, Chiang Kai Shek started to deny the October 10th. Agreement and launched an attack to the territories of the Chinese Communists.
During the period from 1945 to 1949, this period is the mostly referred as Chinese Revolution (Chinese 2nd. Civil War). After the defeat, Chiang Kai Shek was forced to flee to the island of Taiwan; Chinese Communists officially established The People's Republic of China and formally ended the long-lasting Chinese Revolution.

At the beginning of the war, the United States of America demonstrated a clear preference and support toward the Chinese Nationalists, providing a large amount of armored vehicles, aircrafts, weapons, and financial aids, while The Soviet Union only provided the Chinese Communists with an average amount of military equipment supply. As a matter of fact, a large number of Chinese Communist soldiers had no weapon to fight, and the only weapons they had were spoils of the Japanese.

Korean war is also called Korean Civil war, fought between the communism Korea led by Kim II-Sung in the North and the capitalist Korea in the South. The war was started by North Koreans who wanted to invade and occupy the entire Korean Peninsula. North Korean army fought very aggressively; by August 1950, the North Korean army has taken over 90% of the territory and controlled 92% of the population. Because the United States wanted to have more allies in Asia, so the military commanders thought that it was necessary to help the capitalist South Korea. The representatives of the United States at the United Nations requested to vote for offering military aids and backups to South Korea. Later, 17 nations agreed to form a "United Nations Army" to help South Korea; General MacArthur became the general commander of the United Nations Army. After United Nations Army disembarked in Inchon, Korea, the United Nations Army swept back and went straight to the national borders between North Korea and China. Due to the request from North Korea and the threats to the Chinese national security, China assembled the Chinese People's Volunteer of a total men force of 1.9 million soldiers to help North Korea to fight The United Nations Army. USSR provided weapons, armored vehicles, aircrafts, and military aids at the same time. At the end of 1950, the Chinese People's Volunteer successfully pushed the United Nations Army back to the 38th. parallel. Both sides fought and struggled to make huge progresses for the next two years; there were a lot of brutal battles. Finally, both sides agreed to negotiate and settle. North Korea, China, and United States signed the Military Armistice Agreement in July 1953, formally ending the Korean War.

During the war, both the United States and the Soviet Union played huge roles. United States actively proposed to form an "United Nations Army" and to fight. Soviet Union provided the Chinese People's Volunteers with a huge number of military equipment, especially the famous MiG-15s that made the US Air Force have a hard time. Also, regarding the fact that North Korea started this war and United States actually fought the war, both the U.S. and the Soviet Union should take the same amount of responsibility.
