Sam’s Birthday Party and Learning About Friendship Dr. Persoff 230 words

Once, I was excited because my friend Sam was having a birthday party. Everyone in our class was invited, except for Luke. I saw that Luke looked sad and lonely. I wondered how he felt. Sometimes, it can be hard when we see someone not included.

Sam’s party was fun. We played games, ate cake, and gave each other presents. But I couldn’t stop thinking about Luke. I knew he was different from us. Sometimes, Luke gets teased and feels bad. I felt happy for those who were invited, but also a little worried about Luke. I wanted everyone to be kind and fair.

Later, I decided to talk to my friends about it. I said, “Maybe we can invite Luke to our next class event. Everyone deserves to have fun and feel happy.” My friends agreed. We learned that being kind means including everyone and making sure no one feels left out. We decided to be better friends and to always treat others with respect.

The next day, I saw Luke smiling a little more. I told him I was glad he was happy. I learned that even small actions, like including someone, can make a big difference. It’s important to treat everyone kindly and to remember that everyone wants to feel special. When we are kind and fair, we all can have more fun and be good friends.

Learning to Be Kind: Tamar, Yael, and the Power of Respect 310 words.

Hello! My name is Tamar. One day, I saw my friend Yael wearing shoes that looked very old. I thought it was funny and I started making fun of her. I didn’t realize that my words could hurt her feelings. I want to tell you what I learned from this experience so you can also be kind to your friends.

That day, I was with my friends at school. Yael was sitting near us, and I saw her shoes. They were a little torn and old-fashioned. Instead of being kind, I said, “Wow, your shoes are so old! Do you wear those every day?” Some of my friends laughed, but I saw Yael look sad. I didn’t think about how she might feel. I just wanted to be funny.

Later, I noticed that Yael was quiet and didn’t want to play with us anymore. I felt confused. Why did she look upset? I started to understand that making fun of her wasn’t nice. I remembered how I might feel if someone made fun of my clothes or my shoes. That made me realize I should treat my friends with respect, even if they look different or wear old shoes.

From that day, I decided to think carefully before I speak. I learned that saying nice words is very important. I also learned to listen and understand how my words can make others feel. If I see someone being teased, I should help by being kind and including them. Everyone deserves to feel happy and respected.

Now I know that being kind is more important than making jokes about others. I want all my friends to feel loved and accepted. We can all learn to treat each other with kindness, no matter how someone looks or what they wear. That way, we can make our school a happy place for everyone!

I remembered that everyone likes to be part of the team. I decided to ask her if she wanted to join my group. She nodded shyly, and I smiled. We worked together on the project.
Hadar- Daniel's First English Test and a New Friend

265 words

Once, I felt nervous about my English test. I am Daniel, and I am learning English. I find some words hard, and I worry I will not do well. Last week, I saw my friend Ana talking with her classmate about the test. I wanted to ask her for help, but I was shy. I was afraid she might say no, or laugh at me. My feelings were mixed—sad, worried, but also hopeful.

The day of the test arrived. I sat at my desk, feeling nervous. I remembered what my teacher said: "It's okay to ask for help. Friends support each other." I took a deep breath. I decided to try. During the test, I looked over at Ana. I waved my hand gently. She saw me and smiled. I went over to her and said, "Can you help me with these words?" Ana looked kind. She nodded and explained some words in a simple way. I felt relieved and happy. We worked together, and I learned new words. After that, I felt more confident. I realized that asking for help is okay, and friends want to help each other.

From that day, I learned an important rule: It is okay to ask for help when you do not understand. Friends are there to help. I also learned that trying your best, even when it’s difficult, makes you stronger. Now, I feel more confident in my English. I know I can ask for help, and my friends will support me. Learning is a journey, and I am happy to take it step by step.

But my parents are divorced, and my mom doesn't always have enough money to buy me the newest or most fashionable clothes. Sometimes, I feel sad because I want to look just like my friends who wear the latest styles. One day, some classmates started to make fun of me because my clothes are not the newest. I felt upset and shy. I wanted to hide, but I remembered that everyone is unique and special in their own way. I took a deep breath and tried to stay calm. I told myself that being kind and confident is more important than what I wear. The next day, I talked to my friends and told them I am happy with who I am. I learned that true friends like me for who I am, not what I wear. Now, I understand that everyone deserves respect, no matter what clothes they have. I feel more confident and happy to be myself. I know that being kind and honest helps me make good friends, and I can be proud of who I am.

Last week, I came back to school after a fun vacation. When I entered the classroom, I was excited to share my stories and gifts. I had bought small key rings for some of my friends while I was away. I decided to give key rings to only half of the girls in the class because I thought they would like them the most. I was happy seeing my friends smile when they received their gifts. They looked so surprised and happy with their shiny new key rings.

But I also noticed that the other girls who didn’t get a key ring looked a little sad. They were trying to hide their feelings, but I could see they felt left out. They might have felt upset or lonely because they saw their friends with new gifts. I remembered that everyone wants to feel included and appreciated. It’s important to think about others’ feelings, not just our own happiness.

Next time, I will make sure to include everyone. I can share my gifts equally or find other ways to make all my friends feel special. When we share and include others, everyone feels happier and more connected.

Once, in my classroom, something changed. Our teacher decided to switch our seats. I was a little nervous because I liked my old spot. Suddenly, I found myself sitting next to someone I didn’t usually sit with. I wondered if things would be different now.

At first, I noticed that Emily looked upset. Emily is a quiet girl who often sits alone. Some kids avoided sitting next to her. I saw others whispering and changing seats as if they didn’t want to be near her. This made me feel sad because everyone deserves to feel happy and included.

I remembered that Emily might feel lonely or sad. I thought, "What can I do to help?" I decided to be kind and friendly. I smiled at her and said hello. Sometimes, just saying something nice can make someone’s day better. I also remembered that everyone makes mistakes and that it’s important to be respectful and caring.

Our teacher had a rule: "Always be kind and include everyone." I tried to follow this rule. I sat next to Emily and asked if she wanted to work on a drawing together. Slowly, Emily smiled. Some kids who avoided her earlier started to join in too. They realized that being kind makes the class a happier place for everyone.

By the end of the day, I saw Emily feeling more comfortable. I learned that seats can change, but kindness stays the same. It’s important to include others and treat everyone with respect. When we are kind, we help make our classroom a friendly and caring community. I felt happy because I did the right thing, and I hope others did too.

Once upon a time, in a small, friendly school, there was a girl named Sarah. Sarah was in grade 8 and loved to learn new things. But sometimes, Sarah found it hard to sit still and pay attention. She has something called ADHD, which makes her very energetic and sometimes forgetful. Because of this, Sarah needed a little extra help from her teacher, Mr. Lee.

One day, some students noticed that Mr. Lee spent more time helping Sarah with her work. They started to think that maybe Mr. Lee liked Sarah more than the other students. They felt confused and a little upset. They wondered, “Does Mr. Lee care more about Sarah? Why does she get more help?” These questions made some students feel jealous or worried.

Sarah felt upset when she heard what others were saying. She didn’t want anyone to think that she was getting special treatment because her teacher liked her more. Sarah knew that Mr. Lee was kind and wanted to help all his students. She also remembered that she needed extra help because she sometimes felt overwhelmed. So, she decided to talk to Mr. Lee about her feelings. She said, “Mr. Lee, I want everyone to understand that I get help because I need it. It’s not because you like me more.” Mr. Lee smiled and said, “Sarah, I help everyone because I care about all my students. We all have different needs, and that’s okay.”

The next day, Sarah and her classmates learned an important lesson. They realized that everyone needs some help sometimes, and that it’s okay to ask for it. Mr. Lee explained, “Helping each other makes our class stronger. We all learn and grow better when we support one another.”

From that day on, the students understood that asking for help is a good thing. They also learned that everyone is special in their own way. Sarah felt happy because she knew she was not alone. She also knew that her friends and her teacher cared about her, just as she cared about them. The class continued to be a kind and helpful place, where everyone could learn and grow together.

Key Information for the Teacher:

The story emphasizes understanding and empathy toward students with ADHD.

It addresses common misconceptions about special help and promotes the idea that different needs are normal.

Use this story as a discussion starter about feelings, helping others, and respecting everyone’s individual needs.

Encourage students to share their own experiences with asking for help or supporting classmates.

Reinforce the message that kindness and understanding are the most important parts of a caring classroom.

Once, after school, I was excited because I knew my friend Joseph was coming to play at my house. I wanted to show him my new toy car and play together. I felt happy but also a little nervous. I wanted everything to go well. I knew that playing nicely was important, so I tried to be kind and friendly.

When Joseph arrived, he smiled and said hello. I welcomed him and asked, “Would you like to see my toy car?” Joseph nodded happily. We sat down to play. At first, we both wanted to drive the car at the same time. I felt a little worried because I didn’t want to fight over it. Then I remembered that sharing was important. I took a deep breath and said, “Let’s take turns.” Joseph smiled and agreed. We both felt good because we shared and played nicely.

While playing, I remembered some simple rules. First, I should listen when my friend talks. Second, I should be kind and polite. And third, I should take turns and share. These rules help us have more fun and be good friends. When I followed these rules, Joseph and I had a great time. We both learned that sharing and listening help friends enjoy each other’s company.

At the end of the day, Joseph said, “Thank you for playing with me!” I felt happy because we played well together. I learned that being kind, sharing, and listening makes friendship better. I was proud because I followed the rules and made my friend happy. Now I know that being a good friend means sharing, caring, and having fun together.

Sometimes, it is hard to decide who to sit with or be with, especially when everyone wants to be with their friends. I worry about leaving someone out.

There are some girls in my class. Some of them are my friends, and some are new friends I want to get to know better. I think about what I should do. I do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings or be alone. I realize that I can be kind and respectful. If I see someone who is alone, I can ask them to join me. If I want to be with my friends, I can talk to them and include others sometimes. It is important to share and help each other.

Our teacher gave us a rule: “Be kind, be fair, and include everyone.” I will remember this rule during the trip. Before we go, I can talk with my friends and decide on a plan. We can agree to stay together and help anyone who feels shy. If I feel worried about who to be with, I can ask my teacher for advice or find a friendly classmate. It is okay to ask for help.

At the end of the day, I felt happy because I made new friends and helped others do the same. I learned that being kind and including everyone makes the trip more fun for all of us. When we work together and show respect, everyone can have a great time. I now know that sharing, listening, and being kind are the best ways to enjoy a class trip and make sure no one feels left out.

Key information for the teacher:

Purpose: This social story aims to help children understand the importance of inclusion, sharing, and kindness during group activities such as a field trip.

Focus: Managing social conflicts related to choosing friends and ensuring no one is left out.

Teaching points:Encourage children to include others and be mindful of their feelings.

Reinforce the importance of following rules like kindness and fairness.

Promote communication: asking for help, talking to friends, and suggesting inclusive behavior.

Implementation: Use the story as part of a social skills lesson beforehand, and discuss scenarios with the children. Encourage them to share their ideas about inclusion and cooperation during the trip.

This story provides a positive and simple example for children to learn social skills and develop confidence in group situations.

Once, David planned to give a beautiful violin concert in his town. Everyone was excited to listen. But when the day arrived, it started to snow very heavily. David was worried. He thought, "Will anyone come in this snow?"

He decided to cancel the show. He told his friends, "Sorry, I cannot perform tonight. The snow is too much." But his friends and neighbors did not want to give up. They said, "We will come! We want to hear your music, no matter what."

Some people brought warm clothes and umbrellas. They all worked very hard to reach the hall. When they finally arrived, they were cold but happy. David was surprised. He saw how much his friends cared about his music.

At the end of the evening, David played his violin beautifully. Everyone clapped and cheered. David said, "Thank you all for coming. I am glad we did not give up."

This night taught everyone an important lesson: Sometimes, it is worth trying even if it looks difficult. True friends and effort can make any problem smaller. That snowy night, everyone learned that working together can turn a bad situation into a wonderful memory.

237 words

Once there was a boy named Danny. It was Purim, a happy holiday. Everyone was excited to celebrate and share gifts. Danny wanted to give something nice to his friends.

One day, Danny's family didn’t have a lot of money. So, Danny decided to bring a small gift basket to his class. He knew some of his friends had bigger baskets and more treats. Danny felt a little sad that his basket was smaller. He worried his friends might think his gift wasn’t nice enough.

When Danny went to school, he saw his friends smiling and sharing their gifts. Some friends looked at Danny’s basket and said, “Wow, your basket is special!” Danny was surprised. He learned that even small gifts can be kind and meaningful. His friends didn’t care about the size of the basket; they cared about the kindness behind it.

During the class party, Danny saw that everyone was happy. His friends shared their treats with him, and Danny shared his small basket too. He felt proud because he gave his gift with a good heart. Danny learned that the most important thing is to be kind and thoughtful, no matter how big or small your gift is.

From that day, Danny knew that sharing and caring are what really matter. He felt happy knowing that his gift made his friends smile. And everyone learned that being kind is the best gift of all.

My Playground Lesson: Including Everyone

One sunny afternoon, our class went outside to play in the school playground. We love running, climbing, and playing games with our friends. Today, everyone was excited to have fun together. But I noticed something not everyone was happy about. Our friend David was standing alone near the swings. He looked a little sad.

As I watched, I remembered that sometimes it’s hard for friends to feel left out. I thought about what I could do. I decided to ask David if he wanted to play with us. I went over and said, “Hi David! Do you want to play tag with us?” David’s face brightened, and he said, “Yes, I would like that!” We all cheered and started playing together. Soon, David was running and laughing with us.

While we played, I learned that everyone wants to be included. It’s important to invite friends to join in. If you see someone alone, you can ask them to play. This makes our playground a happy place for everyone. It also helps us feel good inside, because being kind and friendly makes us better friends.

From that day, I promised myself to always try to include everyone. If I see someone left out, I will invite them to join. Playing together is more fun when we all share and care. Remember, being kind and including friends helps everyone feel happy and safe. Let’s keep the playground a place where everyone feels welcome!

Today we learned about some really cool tools. It reminded me of when we studied English in school. Many times, the same bagrut texts were used again and again (at school/ home), and we used to laugh about it. But really, our teachers didn’t have many choices unless they spent a lot of time writing new texts and questions themselves. Now, with these tools, we can make learning English more differented without spending too much time or energy. We still need to change things to fit what we need, but the tools give us a really good start. One part I really liked was the tool that makes Google Quizzes. That’s amazing! I think this is great for teaching English. I’m really glad to learn about these tools.

We then used story dice to chose different words which we then used to put together a story. This can be amazing for students to show their creativity and be spontaneous. We then used a story generator which in my opinion was very useful, and I will be using it in my lessons to create stories. We then created scripts so students can make plays with the story, and finally we discovered an incredible tool which creates Google Forms quizzes for you, and will definitely save me a lot of time. Overall this lesson was amazing and very productive.

It was a busy but very interesting lesson. I liked the idea of taking a picture and the student wrote a few lines about it. It makes writing fun for a child and develops their creativity. All the AIs were very nice and easy to use. I also liked the fact that I could add a moral to the story, it adds a bit of value to what we are teaching. But the best part was the last one of the lessons. It was wonderful to be able to create a quiz so quickly and easily. I plan to use this method and AI in the future, both for my studies and with my students.

I like to work a bit under pressure, it makes me feel that I can get a lot of things done. The other thing is the tools we get to know today. We can use them as teachers. We get to know tools for different levels. I also enjoyed the tool that created the story for us. The Google Forms code is brilliant! I will use it for our project, where we have two Google Forms quizzes already. I saved the prompt in order to be able to do it any time. In general, these lessons are very useful. I taught a lesson today and I used gamma for creating my presentation. It looked great!

The number of sentences was great for our time limit. The social stories were nice, but I felt that in the first one with the limited prompt, I couldn't write a clear scenario for the tool. The second one was better. I hope to use them in the future with my students and make their learning more meaningful. Thank you for getting back to the App script- Google Form. I wanted to learn it. I'm happy that you shared it with us. It will be a time saver for me. (116 words)

Today’s lesson was very interesting and fun. We learned about five new AI tools that are really useful and helpful for us the teachers. All of them were easy to use and gave fast results. I really liked the first two activities. Even though I don’t enjoy writing, I had a lot of fun because they made me think and be creative. I especially liked the third activity—the social story generator. It’s a great tool that can help with problems in society. I think it’s important for teachers to use it to teach students social skills and the challenges they/ their friends may face. These are things people often don’t talk about enough. And of course, the last part—the Google Doc thing, it was fascinating! It saves so much time and effort. Thank you for this special lesson!

140 words

In today's lesson, we learned very important tools. I really liked those tools, and I believe I will use them as a teacher. One tool that I really found amazing is creating a quiz on Google Forms by creating a code using a specific prompt on Gemini. It can save so much time and create something I can work on for more than 20 minutes if I were alone, but now that I know this “trick,” I can create it in less than two minutes. We also learned how to create a story with a moral that can be very effective if I want to teach the class an important lesson about something that needs to be discussed in class. Using this tool today, i created a story that is important to me as a current teacher, because I have a problem in my class that each student thinks she should be treated like everyone, not knowing behind each girl there is a different story that can't let that desire be fulfilled in my class. so I am planning to use what I created in class today, and teach it in my class. I really hope they will absorb the lesson.

One day, our class decided to have a special party for the end of the year. Everyone was excited! We wanted to celebrate and have fun together. I was happy too, but I knew I had to be careful because I am allergic to milk. That means I cannot eat foods that have milk or dairy in them.

On the day of the party, all my friends brought delicious foods to share. There were cupcakes, cheese sandwiches, milkshakes, and cookies. Most of these foods had dairy in them. I looked at the table, and I saw so many tasty treats. I wanted to join and eat with my friends. But I remembered that I couldn’t have anything with milk or dairy because it could make me sick.

I felt a little sad. My friends were eating together and having fun. I didn’t want to miss out, but I also didn’t want to get sick. So, I decided to bring my own sandwich that didn’t have any milk. I carried it to a quiet corner and ate it slowly. I watched my friends enjoy their party, and I felt happy that I brought my own food.

My classmates and teachers are very kind. They know I am allergic to milk. They told me I should always tell someone if I bring food that I can eat. It’s important to stay safe and healthy. They also told me that I can still have fun, even if I don’t eat the same foods as everyone else. I learned that it's okay to have my own special foods and to enjoy the party in my own way.

Now I know that I can join my friends and be happy. I just have to remember to bring my own snacks and tell others about my allergy. Being careful makes me safe and keeps me healthy. I am proud of myself for being responsible and brave. Every party can be fun if I stay safe and true to myself.

This lesson was amazing! I couldn't be on the Zoom so I watched the recording and it was great B"H. One of the things that I was really connected to was the story dice. In my view it develops their creativity. I really believe that if you give the students the basic direction- such as write a story with the 5 words that it gives to you, so they really can express themselves and they can be very creative. I also like the idea of giving the student a picture and they need to write a story based on it. Moreover I really liked the last tool that you taught us - to create a code on Gemini and it can literally save us hours! Thank you very much, it is super useful.

[Scene: The school playground, sunny afternoon. Children are playing, but David stands quietly near the swings.]

Daniel: (noticing) Hey, guys… look over there. David’s by himself.

Moshe: Oh yeah. I thought he was coming to play tag with us.

Chaim: Maybe he didn’t feel like playing?

Oren: Or maybe he felt left out and didn’t know how to join in.

Daniel: Hmm… we should ask him. No one likes feeling left out.

Mr. Robin: (walking over) Boys, I see you're having fun, but it’s also important to notice how others are feeling. What do you see?

Moshe: David looks a little sad. He’s just standing alone.

Mr. Robin: That’s right. Being kind means we include everyone. What do you think you can do?

Oren: We can invite him to play with us!

Chaim: I’ll go ask. (walks over to David) Hi David! Want to join us for tag?

David: (smiles) Really? I’d love to! Thanks, Chaim!

Chaim: Great! Come on!

[David joins the group. Everyone starts playing tag, laughing and running.]

David: This is so much fun. I’m really glad you asked me.

Daniel: We’re glad you’re playing too! It’s more fun when everyone’s included.

Mr. Robin: I’m proud of all of you. Including others shows kindness and makes our playground a welcoming place.

Moshe: I didn’t think much about it before, but now I see how important it is to look out for each other.

Oren: Yeah. Let’s always make sure no one feels left out.

Chaim: Agreed. From now on, if I see someone alone, I’ll invite them to join us.

Mr. Robin: That’s the spirit! When we include others, we build a caring and happy community.

David: Thanks, everyone. Today turned out to be a really great day.

Wow, today's class was massive, full of tasks, but at a slow and good pace. It's amazing to see how many different AI tools there are for various tasks and how endless it is, especially when it's a niche that changes and renews itself from day to day and you just have to stay updated all the time. Thank God, I succeeded in most of the tasks this time and I gave myself a thumbs up and a pat on the back because it's really not easy for me, in an understatement, but I try and do my best. I like to keep up and enjoy learning new things each time because wither I want it or not, like it or not that's where the world is up to and if I want my students to enjoy my lessons and participate, I have to make it interesting , challenging and full of nice experiences .

Thank you so much for bringing it all to our knowledge.

This week's interactive AI lesson focused on exploring the wide range of artificial intelligence technologies that can be used to tell stories in creative and engaging ways. I found the lesson both interesting and educational, as it introduced me to several tools and methods I had not encountered before. However, I did experience some technical difficulties with certain parts of the lesson, particularly the App Script task, which didn’t function properly for me. Despite that setback, I really enjoyed the first activity, called “Once Upon a Story.” As an artist and a very visual person, I was especially drawn to the use of vivid, aesthetic images. I appreciated how those visuals enhanced the storytelling experience and helped bring the narrative to life in a meaningful way.
