One of the most powerful themes in the novel is the idea of home and belonging. Esperanza dreams of owning her own house, a symbol of independence and stability, but the reality of her situation often feels far removed from that dream because she isn’t the special one. In the book, she compared herself as a red balloon because it is distinctive enough and her family is an anchor which restrict her ego. Although this painting are quite classic, the exhibition of these painting are really creative and i think it’s a kind of redefining the art.

For the exhibition, Monet use an extremely large area which are elliptic for both sides, so the hundreds of paintings of the “Water Lilies” just formed an ellipse and enclosed the audience. Monet designed the routine and time the audience will spend on each paintings, so that the sunshine from the glass ceiling will make every painting quite wonderful. Different characters with different style doing the same thing makes a sence of funny. What`s more, the picture`s initial version is easy to see, but it just add something to make it unmatch and, while, some character are really familiar for me.

Infact this picture doesn`t has a name at first, and I even don`t know the creator of this, but I can easily find its copy on many website or places as a meme.
