I was very much moved to read the story of Ollie George, the NAIDOC 2017 male elder of the year.  To hear him speak on the loneliness he experienced, being the only one left to speak his traditional language and to now along with the Badimia people and the Bundiyarra-Irra Wangga Language Centre they have worked hard to create a new Badimaya Dictionary, to preserve culture and language that can be shared across generations.
