Also the people that he killed it was their choice to fight back, they could have just peacefully given their land up and created a new civilization to call home. I think this because he killed many people just for land which would make him a villain. But he defeated the Persians (Greeks main enemy) and won every battle he fought. The Egyptians welcomed him and even made him a pharaoh. Alexander was treated like a god.  Alexander's empire expanded allowing a variety of soldiers to help him fight battles. Although to his people he was considered a hero, he took lives of the innocent and took homes of families. Alexander did not force people into religion or culture. Alexander may have been a hero to some but one conspiracy theory is that Alexander mischievously was a part of King Phillips assassination.
