My name is Yuliia, I`m 22 years old and I come from Ukraine.

I have a degree in International Relations, but work in literally every field but that (guilty). Currently I`m taking a gap year in between my studies, but this autumn I`m going to start my Masters at Bremen University :)

Some random facts about me:

In my practice, I utilize various forms of art, including theatrical performances, music, and painting, to express my perspective on the world around me. Metaphors and symbols are prominent features in my work, often serving as vehicles for exploring the traditions of previous generations. Drawing from personal experiences and global issues, I craft pieces that delve into the human condition.

My artistic style is characterized by primitivism, a deliberate simplicity that lends itself to raw, unfiltered expression. Since 2017, I've been sharing my knowledge and passion for art through teaching courses for both children and adults.

In 2022, I took a significant step by establishing the "UKRAINIAN CULTURAL COMMUNITY" international residence in Berlin. This space serves as a sanctuary for refugee artists from Ukraine, offering them a place to live, create, and showcase their work on the European stage. It's a project close to my heart, bridging cultures and providing support to fellow artists in need.
