conditioning, my classmates and i really hate the hot and humid weather in Singapore so we wanted and air conditioned place to do our work. We had
also wanted a place where it would be more quiet and peaceful compared to the roaring of construction we would normally hear from our classrooms.
Finally the last thing that may very well be the most important thing, is the need of a lively and comfortable atmosphere for us to learn with comfort
and absorb all the important information that our teacher may be disclosing to us. So in conclusion, a cooling place with quiet space and a
comfortable and lively atmosphere is what me and my class mates need to effectively learn and study Area 51 fulfills all our needs and it would be the place we would like our EL lessons to be conducted, but Area 51 would not have been chosen if it were not for the teacher's checklist it so promtly fulfills. There is are multiple tables wth chairs around them for us to sit, the teacher can stand at the front with a whiteboard amd projector to along with it. Many of our classmates often complain that the classroom is too stuffy or cramped during hot days,so the first location that came to mind MAD Lab at the fourth level. Not only is the area much bigger than the classroom,but it also has good air-conditioning that will cool us down on a warm day! The floor has a carpet as well,making the place very cosy and relaxing. Unlike the classroom,the tables and chairs have wheels,so we can adjust our seating position in any way that is comfortable for us. The teacher has multiple white boards to write on, at the front,back and sides of the classroom. Thanks to this,students from every row can see the whiteboards,no matter how far away they are. The tables and chairs are big and spacious as well,so it enables us to put many papers and notes,as well as write efficiently. The room is also soundproof,so any noise from outside will not interrupt our lessons. There was once when I went to the MAD Lab for an after school programme. We had PE just before I started the programme,and all of us were sweaty as our clothes clung to us uncomfortably. When I entered the MAD Lab, the air-conditioner blowing on my face made me very relaxed. The space between the tables were so wide that I could stretch my legs and there was still sufficient space to swing them! The whiteboards were plenty for the teacher to write down notes of two chapters! I choose AREA 51 as where i want my lessons to be conducted as it meets most of my teacher's criteria . AREA 51 is a place where students from cwss relax and chill after a long tiring day after school. It is also one of the place that fits most of my teacher's criteria.AREA 51 is air conditioned and spacious. Students have space to sit down and do some writing if required. This is one of the criteria my teacher wants. Another criteria is that she would have an appropriate place to stand and address the class. In AREA 51 there is a space on front where the visualiser is, for the teacher to conduct lessons. Thus two criterias have been amswered. The last criteria is that my teacher should be able to write or type something where everyone can see. We would like our EL lessons to be in the Music Room as it is spacious. Our class is very active so a spacious area where we can let loose is ideal. Being spacious also gives us a lot of options for different types of lessons. We could play games or do group activities which the class likes a lot. There was once when our class was brought to the drama room by our literature teacher and we had a lot of fun playing the games and competing with other groups while learning and testing our knowledge and understanding of the poem we were learning. Thus we feel that the music room is where we would like to have our EL lessons as it is very spacious thus giving us a lot of room to be active as well as that we can have a lot of different types lessons like games and hopefully have as much fun as we did during our time in the drama room.

I would like my EL lessons in the computer lab as it fufills the requirements of both the teacher and students. Most of our classmates like to use computers and gadgets, thus the computer lab is a suitable place for us.The teacher would too have a place to stand in front and in addition, a place to write or type out something should she need to. During semester one, we had this period called ICT, it was held in the computer lab and it was for us to try out coding. I could remember many students enjoying this class. Adding on, when i asked my friends which was their favorite lesson in school, most of them choose the computer lab.I think the computer lab would be a suitable place for both students as teachers as it fufills their basic requirements. I hope that one of our lessons would be held there as it would be new, since we never have had our basic subject lessons in any other place except classrooms

This will be especially comfortable for students who cannot focus when squeezed into a tight space. The room is also sound-proof so we do not have to worry too much about disturbing other classes while participating in class activities. Since our class tends to get very excited during class activities and the noise-level goes out of control, I thought that being in a sound-proof room we may not cause any inconvenience to the classes having lessons around us. The noise outside will not affect our lessons either. So the students will not be distracted by other noise while trying to concentrate.
