The guardians had their own relics they thought precious... For Azulrite it was a book, for Esther the wings of freedom, For Twilight a magic amulet, for Ezekiel a sword, for Xavia a staff, and for Aurora a mirror. 

But despair is upon them as a great wicked evil has emerged. They call him, “The Black Star”, they say that he turns red wine black and that he can twist himself into the darkest void of shadows.   He crossed the land to collect black magic, twisted curses, and monsters that will obey his every command. He used them to almost completely take over the Zelaura empire. 

War was here. Fire, death, and many enslaved ones under a dark curse. Luckily, Empress Athena called upon the guardians to make sure “The Black Star” was not in control. The guardians succeded... Just barely. They kept “The Black Star’s” phantom in a shrine protected by elite warriors since it was unbreakable. Even with the 6’s relics combined it still didn't work. 

There were many sacrifices made yet the war was won. Many, many years later the guardians grow old and die victoriously in succeeding in defeating many great evils. And for those artifacts… they now lay hidden deep in the Zelaura palace kept safe and secure guarded by the top guards of the century. 

In this current year: 1301, one of the relics has been stolen…  Ezekiel’s blade. It purposes many different abilities… yet even guarded by the most top-notch guards it was still stolen by a quite clever demon thief. As more fiends and foes awaken that just makes it even worse.

quickly jumped and did a 360° turn slashing him in the face with his dagger-like claws. “AGGHHH!!” Cried out the slashed guard covering his face. The rest of the guards ran past the first guard chasing after the hooded boy. 

As the hooded boy sprinted through the castle halls he spotted a window that was covered by camouflaging curtains. He jumped up and latched onto the handle that was on top of the secret door and pulled himself up. The guards pointed their spears up at him not noticing that there was a window right before him. “You’re trapped, now surrender, thief!” Said the guard captain. The boy started laughing but he stopped quickly after. “Ha... You don’t know what I'm about to do, huh?” The guards looked at each other puzzled but when they looked back the boy was gone and the window was open, the wind blew up the camouflaged curtain majestically. The guards gasped and stared in shock. “We have to call the general!” Said one of the guards. “You!” The guard captain pointed to another guard. “Go contact the general and tell him Ezekiel’s blade is gone!!” The guard ran quickly and disappeared into the void of the hallway.  “We’ll send out a search for the thief, but until then…” The captain narrowed his eyes. “...This could be the biggest mistake we could have ever made ever since The Day of Midnight.”

Chapter 2. Changes

The empress covered the tips of her eyes with her two fingers then she put her hands on the armrests of the throne.  “How could you let this happen?!” She shouted, her voice echoing through the room. She put her face into her hands. “This can’t be happening…” Her voice started to get quieter. 

“I’m sorry you’re grace.” Said the general, she kneeled with one first on her chest. “The thief was quick yet he was clever.” The two princesses, the empress’s sisters, sat on the sides of the empress’s throne. “Luna..?” The second eldest muttered. She tried to comfort her older sister but Luna resisted. “Please... I need some time alone to think... This is all too much…” She said as she stood up and walked behind the thrones to a secret room.

 She shut the door behind her and then started looking at a map of the castle. “How did that thief get in…” She studied the map’s opening points. She then caught sight of a little opening at the back by where the garden is. “Who put that there..” She pondered. She started to hear shouting coming from the throne room. 

The empress walked out of the hidden room and gasped when she saw a  group of masked anthropomorphic animals standing timidly before her sisters.

The grass and daisies softly swayed with the wind and the sun shined its brightest. The air smelled like freshly baked pie. The hooded boy laid down his sack dramatically to reveal Ezekiel’s Blade. He took off the scabbard and admired it. It had a vine design that stroked down its blade with some flower petals and for the handle, it had a sleek spark design that made it shimmer. The hooded boy unreeled his hood to reveal a face but with his hair covering his eyes and some long pointy ears. 

He stood and swayed the sword around. It had a teal aura surrounding it making it seem more influential. “Heh, my friends’ll be so shocked when I show them this..” “Show them what?” Said a voice behind the thief. “AH!” He yelled out exaggeratedly as he looked behind himself. It was a cute elf girl with orange curly hair, she stood tilting towards the thief holding a flower-filled basket. “Who are you?!” The thief spat out. “I’m Ginger!” The elf replied, waving. “What's your name?” She added crouching down. “BJ.” The thief answered as he put the scabbard back on the sword. “BJ? What does it stand for?” Ginger questioned. “It's none of your business, now go away I’m kinda busy here!!” BJ

Scolded. “Awh…” Awed Ginger. “So what's with the shiny sword thingy?”
