Background information:
Samuel Cook[2] (January 22, 1931 – December 11, 1964),[2] known professionally as Sa+ml Cooke, was an American singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
Cooke wrote songs to support the civil rights movement, as black Americans fought for equality. It was hard for black Americans to live life in peace at that time. They had no right to work and stand for their rights.
