Germany decided to pass through Belgium (neutral country), and Belgium refused. Germany then invaded Belgium which brought Great Britain to declare war on Germany on August 4.</div>]]></description>

Saying that Germany will help Mexico reconquer the land it has lost to the United States. Britain decoded the message and gave it to the U.S. government. The U.S. was already debating on joining the war because of their strong ties to France and Britain, but this was the last straw and The U.S. declared war against Germany.</div>]]></description>
