Susan greenwood is a survivor of the London bombings attack. She lost her leg in the bombing, and now lives with scars and advocates for research into scar free healing, she lives in bornmouth with her husband, two children and two dogs and currently works within the NHS. On the morning of the bombings she was caught up in the bombings when she was traveling on thr train and was merely two feet away from the bomber at the time. She woke up on the floor of the tube and must have lost consciousness for a few mins because she didn’t recall getting hit on the head of anything. The explosion must have simply knocked her out. The. She woke up and it was deathly silent and the she knew it was a bomb.nher first memory is of the thick smoke and looking for fire. Luckily there was none, she knew her leg was badly injured and that it would need amputating, but having been in many trauma theatres, she knew it wouldn’t be the end of the world, I’m the end her left leg had to be amputated above the knee.
