I choreographed a dance for four people to Choose Your Fighter by Ava Max. Originally, I pictured four dancers in formations on stage, but then I noticed parts of the song sound like a video game. So instead I decided to make them four video game players. I performed all the parts to show different choices I could make. I am hopeful because I know that no matter what I do choose, if I give it all I’ve got I can be a winner. My desire is to be a choreographer someday.

I am hopeful because I believe that when we are at our hardest times, the universe will lend a helping hand. This theme is based on the abundance that nature provides for everyone. The dance depicts these through examples like, when we are lost, there will always be a path, when we ask for a flower/pleasant sight, we will get a garden, when there is darkness, there is a guiding light. This song describes that when we are hopeful, anything is possible.

My dance is a self-choreographed reflection on hope. Named "Sakura Blossom," it resembles the livelihood and vibrance of a fresh spring bloom. The character radiates a contagious positivity as she dances about with a gleeful smile. Her eyes are filled with light from the tunnel's end that we are yet to see. I am hopeful because upon performing as this character, I myself am infected by her endless joy. She fills me with hope that anyone is capable of reaching great lengths in life. Just like the hardy little cherry blossom, we will survive even the bleakest situations.
