While it is true that gum is not completely digested because it is resistant to digestive enzymes, the digestive system works as if nothing had happened, basically nothing out of the ordinary happens. Instead of staying in the stomach for years, the gum later comes out without any problem

I believe that this myth is not true because if not it should say some warning since it would be super dangerous for society, because imagine the amount of gum that a person consumes for 7 years is too much, this could be super dangerous
