         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1853 Johnson he started to consider retiring from politics but he changed his mind and soon he won his election as the Governor of Tennessee and he won the election by 63,413 votes to 61,163 although as the Governor he had not a lot of power. Johnson won 2nd term as Governor but again he had not a lot of power, during his 2nd term he wasn't doing anything special he was just doing normal Governor things. In 1857 Johnson decided not to do a 3rd Term as a Governor, knowing it's time for someone else to takeover. "Johnson sought to eliminate rebel influence in the state, He demanded loyalty oaths from public officials."</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In July 1865 Johnson had a trip for where he would make a speech but he ended the trip because of his Daughter, he went to his daughter, he ended up having a Stroke but refused help from the Doctors but next day he let them treat him, he was not getting better. July 30th he had another Stroke where he passed at 66.</div>]]></description>
