Throughout the course of this school year, students will be reading several books both independently and as a class. I created this blog to create a community where we can discuss what we are reading and share our thoughts and opinions with our classmates. Post a picture of the cover of your book (google image will work as well) and provide a basic summary of the plot (No spoilers!!). Students can then talk about what you liked or didn't like about the book. You can even recommend the book to another classmate for their next reading assignment or to read at their leisure. Below is one of my favourite novels. Many of you know the story of Jurassic Park from the movie series, but this is the book that inspired a generation of films. As many of you know, this book follows palaeontologist Alan Grant and misadventures navigating Jurassic Park, a theme park with cloned relatives of real dinosaurs. This book is action packed from start to finish, and is just downright fun. I would recommend this book to any science fiction fans and those who aren't afraid of some big, hungry dinos!
