Day thirty-four as an industrial trainee.

Assisted staff in preparing rooms for the BSN and Takaful groups.

Over 100 rooms needed to be prepared and released to ensure guests could stay comfortably.

All manpower and housekeeping staff were deployed to work hard to complete the rooms before 5 PM.

The next day as an industrial trainee.

Started at 9:00 AM with a briefing together with the staff before being assigned individual tasks.

Assigned to strip the linen from rooms that had been checked out by the BSN and Takaful groups.

On day forty, assigned to the laundry department.

Prepared amenities and filled liquid soap into bottles.

This new method was introduced to make things easier for the staff, as the smaller bottles run out quickly.

Installed them in each room together with other staff, with 35 rooms successfully completed first

Forty-first day as an industry trainer.

Had the opportunity to learn how to do decorations based on guest requests.

Was taught by one of the staff in charge of decorations.

A "Happy Birthday" decoration was chosen to be set up.

Assigned to the laundry department today to assist other staff.

Dirty linen is removed for cleaning purposes.

A truck from the laundry service will arrive to collect the dirty linen and deliver the cleaned ones the next day.

Without realizing it, two months have already passed at the internship placement.

Today, the refilling and placement process was done together with another intern, Amir.

Refilling the soap into the bottles was slightly challenging as some types were liquid while others were thick.

Guidance on making a neat and correctly arranged bed was provided by one of the supervisors.

Through this training, knowledge related to housekeeping has been further enhanced.

The task assigned was to refill amenities into bottles before placing them in each room.

As usual, this process was carried out together with other staff members.

Today’s task was carried out together with Randi to perform room cleaning.

This process is referred to as deep cleaning, which involves cleaning rooms that are not in use.

The purpose of this process is to ensure that rooms are tidy and clean for the guests.

After spending more than two months in the Housekeeping Department, the placement continued in the Sales and Marketing Department.

On the first day in the Sales Department, no tasks were assigned as there were no staff present in the office.

Most of the Sales Department team is based in Kuala Lumpur, as the main office is located there.
