This is how I turned to oak mining bees, Andrena Ferox. Even the name suggested that I might be similar to it, as ferox from Latin means fierce = strong and powerful and I believe myself to be strong, never give up and face the difficulties rather than avoid them. 

When you think about bees in general, the first characteristic that comes to your mind is - hard-working. Bees are very industrious, buzzing around and collecting pollen all day long and then making it into honey and storing it in a very precise hexagonal shape. I am hard-working and I like shapes, I like order and preciseness just like them. It drives me crazy when things are not done properly.

Andrena Ferox just like any other bee is a communally nesting bee. It works alongside with the other members of the community contributing to the prosperity and its survival. Just the same, community is something I strongly link myself to and believe that only when each member of the society does his/her work properly the whole society will prosper. 

They are also very selective, as they do not collect pollen from any other tree than oak. In this, I see a similarity with myself as well. I strongly believe that each member of a culture should contribute to the development of his/her own culture so that it thrives and does not die out.

All in all I was amazed how much an insect can be similar to me.

I am an owl, because I love the night. The night is the time were I am most active in. I think I am really brave and the owl is also really Self-determined, which I think I am also. I mostly sleep the day and don´t do anything. As the owl gets older and bigger it finds its strength and so am/was I. It doesn´t like rules and that’s what I don’t like as well. Rules aren´t good at all for me, because I think it stresses me out. The owl is smart and that´s what I would like to be.

I am a bat. I am a Mammal. I also have a special power, I can fly. When the sun starts shining, I start to get sleepy and when it gets dark, I get energy. I can also hear very good and thats why I think I am a Bat.

I am a squirrel because I´m very active at night. I don’t like sleeping very much so I choose a nocturnal pet. At day time I`m also not as energetic as in the night.I´m also really good at seeing like a squirrel.My sense of hearing is also really good.I´m also good at remembering things and I like climbing trees aswell.

I am a woodpecker and you can see me in several woods, gardens and parks. 

I´m not a migratory bird, so I don´t change my places and I prefer it to live a comfortable life. :) I often hammer on any trees and I absolutely like colours and as you can see: I am a friend of colours! I´m black, white and a bit of red. 

I hate it when I don´t have much space for me. 

Why am I a woodpecker?

I am a fan of colours and I like it when I have free time for me. :)

I am a hedgehog, because I love it to oversleep the whole day and get up in the night. I don’t like it, when it gets cold. That's why I hibernate. Before winter, I have to eat very much, but I can do this! I am not that bad in climbing. In fact it is one of my hobbies! I also like it to swim! When I'm sick I walk around aimlessly. Sometimes there are leaves on my back, but I don´t realise that. hahaha

Its fur can range in color from light fox red to deep black. Its special feature, the bushy tail, which the rodent uses for balance and communication, is up to 20 centimeters long.

All species of squirrels are predominantly diurnal. They feed primarily on nuts and other seeds, fruits and other parts of plants and, less frequently, opportunistically on animal food such as insects, eggs and chicks and other small animals. Arboreal, they are very good climbers and most species spend most of their time in the trees, only occasionally coming down to the ground to forage.

 

The animal i have chosen ist the owl. Owls are calm and nocturnal. I think this describes me really good. They have very good eyes but that's not true for me because I have pretty bad eyes. In my opinion owls look really majestic and pretty. Some of them are really cute too. A owl is a about 69 cm tall. Im about one meter taller but well. As food, the owls prefer mice but overall they eat pretty much everything like earthworm, butterflies, fish, reptiles and other mammals up to the size of a young fox. At this point, we're not exactly the same. Overall, except the food thing, I think the owl and I am very similar.

Hello, I’m a Marmot. I Like the animals because they are so cute. They  lives in the alps, and I love the alps ( the fresh air and the quietness). The marmots like to sleep and they also like to be awake, like I do. I’m really  active and they’re too. They are eating no meat only plants,and me too.They are living on the ground under the tree.

Hedgehogs  active at night I like that too. I also like to sleep at day. I like to swim like the hedgehog.
They are the most active in autumm I really like autumm. If it is cold I like to go in a warm place.They are good at hearing. I also think he is cute

Did you know that the name "fire salamander" has nothing to do with their drawing, but goes back to an old superstition. People used to think that the secretion (liquid) that fire salamanders excrete through their skin could put out fires. That is why the animals were thrown into the fire when there was a fire.

The fire salamander has shiny black skin with striking yellow or orange markings on it. The drawing consists of either spots or stripes. This pattern warns its enemies that it is poisonous. In Austria they live in almost all suitable areas that are not too high.

Why I am a salamander?  Like me a fire salamander is very adaptable and flexible. They prefer to lie under tree trunks, in burrows, under stones or under piles of leaves, where it is nice and damp and cool.

In summer, when it is very hot, these animals do not come out of their hiding place and during the winter months, the fire salamander hides underground.

I don't like when it is very hot, I also prefer cool areas. I prefer spring or autumn. I also like the pattern and that it is a small and tiny animal - I'm not that big :-)

Many monkey species are tree-dwelling (arboreal), although there are species that live primarily on the ground, such as baboons. Most species are mainly active during the day (diurnal). Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent, especially the Old World monkeys.

Within suborder Haplorhini, the simians are a sister group to the tarsiers – the two members diverged some 60 million years ago. New World monkeys and catarrhine monkeys emerged within the simians roughly 35 million years ago. Old World monkeys and apes emerged within the catarrhine monkeys about 25 million years ago. Extinct basal simians such as Aegyptopithecus or Parapithecus (35–32 million years ago) are also considered monkeys by primatologists.

Lemurs, lorises, and galagos are not monkeys, but strepsirrhine primates (suborder Strepsirrhini). The simians' sister group, the tarsiers, are also haplorhine primates; however, they are also not monkeys.

Apes emerged within monkeys as sister of the Cercopithecidae in the Catarrhini, so cladistically they are monkeys as well. However, there has been resistance to directly designate apes (and thus humans) as monkeys, so "Old World monkey" may be taken to mean either the Cercopithecoidea (not including apes) or the Catarrhini .That apes are monkeys was already realized by Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon in the 18th century. Linnaeus placed this group in 1758 together with the tarsiers, in a single genus "Simia" (sans Homo), an ensemble now recognised as the Haplorhini.

Monkeys, including apes, can be distinguished from other primates by having only two pectoral nipples, a pendulous penis, and a lack of sensory whiskers.

I like to explore and wander around new places, I’m active and I like running around and I’m agile. I  like climbing and I’m not that bad at it, I also love the forest

 

Pine martins come from the Mustelidae family, so there are related to weasels, ferrets, polecats and otters. They look similar to these species, with round ears, quite short legs and long bodies but are larger than many of their relatives - weighing about 1-2kg and 60-70cm long from nose to tail (they’re about the size of a cat). They brown fur all over their body with a yellowish bib over the throat and chest

Pine martens are extremely agile and excellent climbers, helped by a long bushy tail for balance during treetop adventures, and large claws and thick fur on the soles of the feet for grip as they bound up tree trunks with ease. If they fall, they twist in the air like a cat to land safely on all four feet.

Squirrels live in almost every habitat, from tropical rainforest to semiarid desert, avoiding only the high polar regions and the driest of deserts. The squirrel family includes tree squirrels, ground squirrels  and flying squirrels. Squirrels are very hardworking  animals, and they are cute.

They are typical omnivore.

They are not very active but he is not lazy at all.

They are friendly if you do not hurt them somehow.

They are not very smart but not the stoopid one of all.

Earthworms are usually found in soil eating a wide variety of organic matter. This organic matter includes plant matter, living protozoa, rotifers, nematodes, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms. An earthworm's digestive system runs the length of its body.^[5] Earth worms are breathing through skin. Earthworms are hermaphrodites: each carries male and female reproductive organs. When mating, two individual earthworms will exchange sperm and fertilize each other's eggs. Each individual has both male and female genital pores. 

I really like the variety and contrast of colors on the feathers. With his high, he is somewhere in the middle. Not small and also not big bird. I think I am  with my high in a middle. So for me I am the size of woodpecker, but of course in our world, not in the animal world.

For me it is actually a loud bird. But sometimes when I am with the right peoples I can be loud too. So that is the point. Also I like to feel good not only for me, but for others .

I think we are a lot similar.

 Squirrels also like nuts, i like them too.

 I like the color of their fur.

Lone tree squirrels get friendly with one another.

Although once considered rodents, lagomorphs like rabbits have been discovered to have diverged separately and earlier than their rodent cousins and have a number of traits rodents lack, like two extra incisors.

I choos rabbits, because i like them. And because rabbits are fierce and that is similar as me.
