Charles Darnay:
I had just found out that I was going back to prison and I am terrified. I was finally released after a long fight so now I have no idea what will happen this time. My mind is racing and I don't know what to think. I don't want to leave Lucie. Why am I going back and what will happen to me?
Lucie Darnay:
I was ecstatic to see my husband made it out of prison. But, just after a few days he was taken away from me once again. I tried my hardest to protest but nothing worked and my husband was gone. I went from being at my highest to now being devastated once again. All I know is that I must find a way to get him back.
Dr.Manette:
I am so proud of how I was able to help Darnay and that I became the physician of three french prisons. My shoe making days were over and I was excited to begin a new happy life. However, now that Charles has been arrested yet again I don't know if I'll be able to make the same impact I did the first time. I am scared for my daughter and her husband.
Jarvis Lorry:
I am in a hard situation and I am confused on what I should do. I pride myself in being a business man but do I chose that over the Darnays? I knew it would be bad to let Lucie and her daughter to be at the Tellsons but, on the other hand Charles needed help. I knew I needed to help my dear friend and do whatever I can to help him.
Madame Defarge:
Charles released?! Are you serious? I am very suspicious of that man and I cannot believe he was set free. I will do everything I can to make sure he is not a free man for much longer. I will never risk myself or what I stand for by helping him or his wife.

Charles Darnay:
I just found out that I'm going back to prison and I am terrified for what is to come. I already had to leave for over a year, and I don't want to leave my family again. I am scared considering I was only home for a few days upon returning from prison the first time.
Lucie Darnay:
I just found out my husband who just got home, has to go back to prison again. I already missed him so much the first time he was in prison. I was just getting used to him being home again and now that is crushed. I am feeling crushed, discouraged and even hopeless.
Dr. Manette:
I am feeling so accomplished being a physician for 3 prisons. I just heard Darnay is being rearrested and I am fearful for what is going to happen to him. I worked so hard to free him the first, and now I am going to work twice as hard to get him freed again. I have to do this for my daughter and her family.
Jarvis Lorry:
Right now I am feeling torn and confused. I need to help my dear friend Darnay but with my business it makes it really hard.
Madame Defarge:
I heard about Darnay being freed from prison, and I will tell you now that does not sit right with me. I am very suspicious of him and will do anything to get him back in that prison. I need everyone to know to be scared of me and what I am capable of.

Charles Darnay: Life has been very hard on me lately, first I risk my life to come save Gabelle here in France, then I get thrown in prison. My only "escape" is seeing Lucie a few times a week from afar. Once finally being released I feel a rush of joy and relief; and I finally get to hug my wife and child. A few short lived moments are torn away from me as I get arrested again--and lose much hope as this time I've been denounced by multiple citizens.

Lucie Darnay: The only thing keeping me going for a long year and three months was mothering my child and standing in a cold street corner two hours each day with the glimmering hope Charles saw me. My father was the only person providing me with hope, his restored livelihood and confidence that he could help Charles saved me. I felt great relief when Charles finally came home to me and I got to lay on my chest. It was like a bullet tore through me when he was arrested again--and my poor father could do nothing to stop it. I am now worried about my husband and my father.

Dr. Manette: I felt great pride in becoming the physician of three French prisons--all to help my dear daughter's husband. The grave days of my shoe making and worrying were finally over when I was able to set Charles free. Being such an esteemed person in France after my long unwarranted imprisonment aided me greatly. However now that Charles has been rearrested I am frightful of what may come to him, and concerned that this time I will not have the power to be the hero.

Jarvis Lorry: I am struggling between balancing business and helping the Darnays. On the one hand, I know it would be very bad for business for Lucie and her daughter to be seen at Tellsons. On the other hand, Charles needs help, and as he is a very dear friend to me I must help him.

Madame Defarge: I take great pride in being the woman people fear in this town. It is known that I take no s***. If I knit your name, you will soon be no longer. I command great respect, and appreciate this about myself. I am highly skeptical of Charles Darnay, and will not risk my status in France by aiding him or his wife.

Charles Darnay: My life has been completely flipped upside down. I came to France in hopes of saving Gabelle, yet before I even get a chance to find my servant I am thrown in prison! Just when I thought I had finally gotten my family, my friends, and my life back I find out that I'm going back to prison. I am terrified for what is to come.
Lucie Darnay: My poor husband has already been through so much, I can't imagine what more they are going to put him through in prison again. Life is hard without him and I can't stand the thought of having to do it again. Just when we finally start settling into normal life again, he's getting sent back. I hope that my father can get him out of there again this time.
Dr. Manette: I am so proud of how much I have been able to help out in these troubling times. I have put my expertise to good use and helped to save lives, even the life of my daughter beloved husband. However, he is being sent back to prison and I am unsure of the reason. I don't know how much else I'll be able to do to help. I worry for my daughter and her husband
Jarvis Lorry: I pride myself on being a serious businessman, but it's tough balancing my business and my personal life. I love the Manettes and Darnay and would do anything to help them, but I also need to keep the safety of my business in mind as well. I am doing my best to help my friends.
Madam Defarge: I am very suspicious of Charles Darnay. I believe that releasing him from prison was a mistake and I will do anything in my power to put him back in that prison. I will not help his family, especially not his wife, and I will make my dislike for him known.

Charles Darnay: Well...that didn't goes as planned. In an attempt to save Gabelle, I journeyed to France but was swiftly thrown in prison yet again. What will my future hold? Will my family and friends be able to help me out of this desolate place?
Lucie Darnay: Oh, my dear husband! Imprisoned again! I had merely gotten him back only to be taken from me again. We must find a way to get him out!
Dr. Manette: The first time I was lucky to get Charles Darnay out but this time proves to be a much dire situation. I'm not sure how I can be of service though I worry for my daughter's happiness so I will try to do do all that I can to get him out. I must find a way to get Charles out, for my daughter's sake! That poor girl has been torn from her husband for far longer than any person should have to endure.
Jarvis Lorry: As a man of business, I know I should not get involved but as a friend of the Manettes and Charles, I felt obligated to do something. When Dr. Manette and his daughter came and asked for help, how could I possibly say no. Though with risk comes sacrifice. I must be careful not to put Tellesons in great jeopardy.
Madame Defarge: I had my suspicions of Darnay and I will certainly not be taken a fool. How could they release him? That boy needs to be imprisoned! You most definitely will not see me aiding his release, I cannot have those sorts of relations associated to my name.

Charles Darnay: All I wanted to do when I got to France was help Gabbelle. But Instead I got thrown in prison for being an "emigrant". And then after I finally got out, they threw my back into the prison. My poor wife, I hate to put her through this.

Lucie Darnay: Why is this happening to use? My husband Has been put in prison twice. While he was in prison the first time, I would stand on the streets for 2 hours every day, on the off chance that he is able to see me. I don't want to put our daughter through this, but I don't know what else to do.

Dr. Manette: I have come so far since I found my daughter. When I heard that Darney had been thrown in prison I rushed to France. When I arrived, I did everything I could to get him out of prison, and it worked too. But to think that after all I did, he was just thrown back into the prison.

Jarvis Lorry: I like to think of myself as a great businessman, but of some strange reason I am just so taken with this family. When Dr. Mannette and Lucie came to me for help regarding Darney, I did everything i could to help them and keep them safe. They couldn't stay with me while they are here though, it would put Telson's Bank at risk. I had Madame Defardge escort them to a nearby hotel.

Madame Defarge:
