Before going here, I didn't really know much about my religion. I would just go to church with my family occasionally. Going to this school made me learn more about God and his importance. My first communion is when I received the body and blood of Christ for the first time. I remember being very excited when my mom showed me my dress and veil. Communion was important for me because it reminded me of what Jesus did for us. It reminded me of all the sacrifices he made for us. My auntie was our landlord and we were renting. In 2021, my parents were looking for a house to buy. In April, they told me that they found the house they were going to buy. The house was in a city called Livermore. I had never heard of this place before and didn't know what it was going to be like. This was my parents first time buying a house. Around June we packed everything up and moved. Because I moved, I had to go to a new school not knowing anyone. I was supposed to go to the same school as my brother, but thank God I didn´t. I was nervous, but it was an opportunity for me to meet new people. At school, I met all of the friends that I have now. I mean, I had gone to orientation before school started, but this was the real thing. This was where I was going to be for the next four years. Luckily I had almost all of my classes for the trimester with my friends. For that one class that I don't have friends in, I was not excited because the teacher was a sub at my middle school. It ended up being okay though. I wasn't used to class being over an hour, so the day felt really long. The theme was green and gold and most people were dressed for the theme, including me and my friends. It was nice to see everyone have school spirit. The food wasn't the best, but I still ate a lot of it. We ended up losing, but it was still really fun. It was kind of weird seeing the whole school squished into the gym. Since we´re freshmen, we weren't really that loud and didn't really know how to do the class chant. Honestly it was a little bit scary seeing the seniors do their class chant because of how loud they were. I guess they just have a lot of school spirit. The dance team, cheer team, and drum line all put on good performances.
