Social Media is a way for us to connect with friends and family even though they are far away from us. It allows us the chance to maintain contact and build relationships with many people. For example, using Facebook I know what my cousins, my friends from when I was 8 years old, my uncle are up to currently. Nowadays we have Insta stories, Fb live that give us a glimpse into someone’s lives. I will feel closer to the person and the person becomes more relatable. Even though we don’t meet, we can be part of each other lives by being updated and connected to one another. This is so much better than having to wait once a year until raya, chinese new year or deepavali to get updated. When we meet, we can also spend more time talking about things that interest us instead of focusing on the basic stuff like where do you go to school now, where do you live now. Therefore, social media has actually helped us build better continuous and active relationships.

Children should not be using handphones because it actually causes many different health problems that will harm them as they grow up. Let me explain, when children are given access to handphones, they will use it often and this will cause their eyesight to become horrible as they grow up. Yes we have spectacles but think of how much it costs, think of the inconvenience of wearing specs. Secondly, phones have also been known to cause problems such as finger ache or even neck and back pain when you use it for a long time. If you start using since young, this habit will cause you to have serious problems in the future. On top of that, when kids get addicted to phones, they will lead a lazy lifestyle and stay indoors all the time instead of exercising or meeting friends outside. This is unhealthy because not only will they be exposed to problems like obesity, this habit will continue until they are adults and may lead to other diseases like heart problems in the future. The longer you do something, the bigger the effect. Furthermore, when they stay indoors, they are also not interacting with different people face to face. This is also unhealthy for their mental and emotional development. Kids may not gain communication skills too. Therefore, we believe that children should not have handphones because we do not want to expose them to the disadvantages of handphones at an age where they are developing and growing the most because it will lead to health problems in the future.

‌Social media ruining our mental health . What i mean by this is that , social media constantly effect our self-esteem in terms of body images and appearance . Apps like instagram , twitter and so on have clouded with celebrities , influencers with questionable talents who have such an amazing body and privileged . It's hard not to come across these celebrities , influencers and 'instagram models' since , they are the main market of instagram itself . Seeing them with a perfect body , perfect family , luxurious lifestyle etc. can make a lot of us feel insecure about ourselves and question our life . Insecurities can lead into depression , eating disorder or some people even going to other serious method to achieve this so called ideal body types . ladies and gentleman , social media has created the idea that the smaller the better , the curvier the better , the richer the better and i strongly against that because not everyone have the money / privileged to become that . Studies shows that , more than 3 billions people doesn't have the luxury that's being display in this social media . For example , hmm let's use some more relatable things . I'm surrounded by pretty rich friends , they always posting their life . where they eat , what they eat , their branded clothes and all that i don't have . Truthfully , it's always making me jealous and i always feel kinda depress knowing that i don't have what they have . "Oh , they were having so much fun . doing this -- doing that" "their life is much more interesting than mine" and it will always make me feel down and thinking why my life is so boring . Therefore , i believe that social media really effect our mental health and we should stop the culture of comparison . I strongly believe that we all want to create a society that doesn't think outer beauty is everything . The beauty itself comes from the inside , whether we're a good person or not . Inner beauty should be seen as an important part too .

In this century children and adults don't go to forest and see animals because it's dangerous and there's a chance that you can die. That's why people go to zoo because it's safe. In zoos you can learn a lot about animals this will motivate people to safe animals. Animals that are in the verge of extinction like tigers,tapir and many more can't find their mate and expand their population. Zoos help them mate this will lower their chances of getting extinct but many people think that this is not a good thing to do because they are forcing. But l disagree. For example, we don't like to eat vegetables even if it is good for us that's why our parents Force us to eat it, this is also a similar case. Zoos should be illegal because humans do not have the right to capture animals, tear them from their families, and jail them, even if the animals is endangered. Let me explain, animal are abused, not given enough space and exercise, and they suffer from strees, boredom, and depression. Many animals die prematurely because of a bad diet, not enough exercise, and bad living conditions. Example, some polar bears get only ten meters of space when in their natural habitat they walk hundreds of kilometers. Animals will no longer be able to survive in the wild. Animals that born in the zoos will no longer know how to hunt and do other things that are necessary to survive in the wild.People for zoos say they are preventing extinction, but what is the point if they will be captive forever. They would be better off if we just kept them in their natural environment. If we keep on building zoos and keep taking animals captive, they will be dependent on the human race when the human race is having enough of its own problems. Zoos are morally wrong. For animal rights we do not have the right to capture, confine, and breed other animals. What if other humans started putting other humans in zoos? There would be an outrage. What if other animals got smart and started keeping us in zoos? We would probably euthanize them for being dangerous. The argument that children will have more compassion animals they can see life does not hold water. Not one of today's children has ever seen a dinosour, yet kids are crazy about them. If people want to see wild animals in real life, they can observe wildlife in the wild or visit a sanctuary. A true sanctuary does not buy, sell, or breed animals, but taken in unwanted exotic pets, surplus animals from zoos or injured wildlife that can no longer survive in the wild. Therefore, I believe zoos should be ban.

Animals help us in the fight against cancer . Let me explain this further , research involving animal is a part of our efforts to beat cancer . Do you know that we share almost our genes with mice ? which making it an effective model for human body . The use of animal in the lab has amazingly improved the understanding of human biology . Animal testing also , help us to investigate how the disease spreads and exploring how our immune system can help fight cancer . For example , breast cancer . As i had mentioned before , we share almost our genes with a mouse . Therefore , mice can be easily allow us to study the genetic cause of cancer . Another example is that , the scientists use mice which have been genetically effect so they develop the equal of children’s cancers that affecting the brain and nervous system . Many years , they have had great succes for these cancer which have helped many childrens . friends , without animal testing , medicines would stop and without animal testing nothing would have possible in terms of medical . Thanks to animal testing , now the survival rate of cancer has been increasing and allow people spend more time with their beloved family.

Social media is the platform that helping us to find any information around the world . We can just google the topic and we can know more about it . Social media is improving our knowledge by letting us know about the latest world update . It helping us to get more close with our family if we are studying oversea , we can video call them by using any apps , such as Skype . For me , I love social media because i'm student . Teacher will give the homework at school and i will do it at home . But , if i was absent , for example , I got a fever , i can just text my teacher using whatsapp . The teacher also will give me the homework through the text , and hoping that I can finish the work even I sicked . To make my work easier , i can find the information that i don't know by using social media and I can past it to the teacher when I'm coming back to school . For other example , I have a friend that really close to me since kindergarden untill the secondary school . One day , she have to move-out of the country because her father got to change his workplace in Australia . Of course , i feel sad . But , to make sure that I still have a connection between her , I start to make an e-mail and sent to her everyday on social media . Everything is available in just a click away with social media .
