Google Classroom allows me to assign students assignments, games, and interactive labs from Discovery Education. This site is so cool because it is interactive with the students. I can see what each of my students are doing and my students can recieve assignents from me, complete them and send them back to me. It allows me to access students work. It acts as a portal where students can access safe sites from. I can also retrieve past assignments to grade. Some assignments even grade multiple choice for me. This site is a great tool to interact with your students, it is an interactive classroom. This is definitely a MUST NEED tool in my future classroom.

This attached lesson is a lesson done on Coding which involved a lot of computational thinking strategies. I used the information gained from my science content course and was able to teach my students how to code using a program called Scratch. This program involved the students using Chrome books at their seats and learning how to make an object on their computer screen move, change color, and make sound. My students had a variety of lessons within one week where they got to eventually create their own game..

This is a great site/resource that tells you all about assistive technology. Even though non of my studnets need assistive technology in my classroom to accommodate their needs it is great to learn about the different types of technology for those future students you may have in your classroom. This site provides low tech and high tech options of assistive technology, professional development options, information on how you can obtain assistive technology in your school, and information of what assistive technology is good for particular situations.

This is the final PBA (Performance Based Assessment completed by my supervisor for my student teaching internship. I was able to receive "Meets Expectations" and "Exceeds Expectations" all across the charts for all content areas including how to implement technology into lessons. Attached is the feedback for technology implementation in my teaching.
My personal goal statement: I feel that I met expectations of implementing technology in my classroom throughout my student teaching experience. I was able to add websites into lessons, include links that had videos that would engage students in the beginning of my lesson. I would use the smart board a lot for daily activities such as recording attendance in the morning on a smart board tool, using games during centers, and drawing/explaining thinking during math lessons as well as charting thinking during reading/language arts lesson. I was able to use Google classroom to assign assignments to my students, and grade them. Next year I want to learn about more pupil based answering technologies other than sites like Kahoot which students can take a quiz. I want to be able to see my students scores rather than guess like on Kahoot. I want my students to be able to communicate with each other more next year using messaging systems for discussions. I had a great year with technology and I am looking forward to be learning about new resources. With the freedom of my own classroom I believe that I will be able to continue to exceed expectations when it comes to technology implementation in the classroom.

My Teaching Philosophy

My Philosophy on teaching is very similar to my personal goal statement. I believe that every child should be provided with materials and manipulative to learn in their own learning style. I believe that every classroom should accommodate to a wide variety of learning styles. I believe that classrooms should be an engaging and welcoming place for students to WANT to learn. Classrooms should contain technology such as computers and smart boards so that students can access the curriculum in an engaging way. Flexible seating is something that I would love to eventually get to with my future classroom. I believe seating like this can motivate students to learn, and work comfortably. I want my classroom to be very student centered. I want my students to independently work on their own and facilitate the classroom themselves. I want their to be engaging conversations including accountable talk. I want my students to be passionate about their work and I want their work to be displayed all over the classroom. My students will make goals in the beginning of the year and establish their own rules and routines and live by them. My student-centered classroom will be the center of learning and the center of comfort. Students will feel welcomed in my classroom and motivated to continue to try their best at everything they do not only in my classroom, but in life.
