Midnight Sun-Stephanie Meyer

What can I say about this book? I kept waiting for it to get better--in fact I'm still waiting. This book is over 600 pages.
Midnight Sun is part of the infamous Twilight series, it falls under the fantasy/romance genre; this book is essentially the plot of Twilight told from Edward's point of view.
New girl moves to a town, a town inhabited by vampires. Vampire falls in love with the girl. Vampire tries to avoid girl. Fails. Light stalking turns to heavy stalking. Danger follows.
Edward talks a lot. Like, A LOT. At one point, I re-read part of Twilight to get an idea of where we were in the plot and it was nowhere near where I was (page wise). He repeats himself, has a really bad self esteem (while STILL thinking he is better than everyone else) , and puts Bella on a pedestal (which is super annoying).
Have I finished this book? No. Will I? Yes. If another one of these Twilight books comes out will I buy it? Yeah, I've read the rest of them, why not another one? Would I recommend you read this? Only if you're a Twi-hard. Otherwise, like me, you will be wondering why you are wasting your time.

How can I describe this book... I can say its thrilling, mysterious, and totally the best book ever! I loved this book and I am continuing to read the rest of the trilogy. These books are filled with adventure and love between a pet and its owner. Sure, their just young adults, but deep down you can just tell that they are made for each other. I cannot wait to see if they do make it together.
During the book the struggle for the main character Ella, a pet or really a slave that is just to look pretty for her owners. The problem was that Penn, the son of the owner, took a liking to Ella in more than just a ¨shes really pretty¨ way. They fall for each other, and decide to run away in the night, to Canada, where pets are illegal and considered slaves. This book is full of excitement and it leaves you on a cliffhanger, will Ella be able to get back to Penn. You see their trip, they get stopped and get separated at the boarder of Canada and the United States, Penn is forced to go back to his family and Ella to a place they keep rescued pets. Now that I am reading the next book, I cannot wait to see if they can make it back to each other.

The House of Hades - Rick Riordan

It's difficult trying to describe this wonderful book. The book is at its peak even though the climax of the book has yet to arrive. This book is about 600 pages.
The House of Hades is just an amazing book that I would definitely recommend, as it has adventures for that one adventure. It's like adventure inception! Anyways we get introduced to the book by the Argo II being attacked by mountain gods, being left on a cliff hanger whether or not Percy and Annabeth are still alive from the fall into Tartarus in the previous book. After a few chapters, we have proof that they survived when the chapter on Annabeth's perspective arrives. There wouldn't be a chapter if they weren't alive! Continuing on, the gang on the Argo II was to get to the Doors of Death in the House of Hades(direct reference to the title) and close it to prevent Gaea's army from rising, while saving Percy and Annabeth in the process. Both the gang on Argo II and Percy and Annabeth has their own battles, but do they succeed in the end? Time will only tell.
The author of the book, Rick Riordan, will never cease to amaze me with the Greek/Roman Mythological world that he has given us today. Every time I read his books, whether if I had read it or not, gives me more intention of reading more books. The first book I read from him was The Son of Neptune, the second book of The Heroes of Olympus, and I couldn't stop reading it. Only took me a week to finish the whole book and I read it again! There are more books to the Percy Jackson Universe and I suggest you read those before reading the House of Hades. Get ready to be amazed of the long and fantastic stories Rick Riordan tells in these mythological book!

Looking For Alaska-John Green (Anh Dao)

Looking For Alaska. Looking for Alaska got me looking for my heart after this book ripped it out. This oppressing sneaky book makes life seem so complicated yet fascinating. Just like the book. This book contains the main character Miles "Pudge" who is fresh out of high school. Pudge's life revolves around the "Great Perhaps" and he came to Culver Creek looking for the said Great Perhaps. He meets a girl named Alaska who catches his eyes. Maybe it's because of her mood swings, or just because of how mysterious she is. This book has only 221 pages, 2 parts and 20 or so chapters but none of those solved my heart break over this book. If you want to know what that great heartbreak was or why this book is so special, I have one suggestion for you. Read it and be drawn into the world of Culver Creek and maybe you'll be dragged along with Pudge and Alaska on their journey for the great perhaps. How will we ever escape this labyrinth? Answer, we don't.
John Green is an author that will never fail to amaze me. I discovered him through the love story of Hazel and Gus. Ever since I've been drawn in. Many people know him from "The Fault in Our Stars" and I understand cause it's an amazing book, but he has other masterpieces. You don't have to worry about wasting your time with this jewel. All you have to worry is about how much time you have to read it.

this book was a great adventure, I got to meet new characters and saw a lot of action happening. The book was about the main character who is being held captive and his friends go and save him. They are not normal people, for they have powers that are related to electricity. They each have a a special connection to electricity and they use it differently. Each character are important and how they got their powers was painful. But their job is to save their friend who is captured. The reason why he was captured because some people wanted to find the source of his power. This book was very powerful and gave me some hero vibes.

I would say that this is a really good book. This book took me on one long mysterious adventure.
Lemony Snicket got recruited to be S. Theodora's apprentice. S. Theodora took Snicket to a town that was far away from the city for Snickets first job. The job was to steal a statue called the Bombinating Beast and bring it back to the people that hired them to do the job. Along the way Snicket met many new people some were good and some were confusing and mean. When he finally thought he solved the mystery of the Bombinating Beast somethin unexpected happened. One of the people he met took the precious statue and ran away with it. Snicket wondered why, but he had a slight idea why she took it.
I really recommended reading this book, but if you read one then you'll want to read the next because this book has 2 other books that go along with it.

Divergent by Veronica Roth Genre: Young Adult/Dystopian

Divergent, a novel by Veronica Roth, was an unforgettable, yet interesting dystopian novel. It is about a world that is divided into five factions: Amity (peaceful citizens), Dauntless (brave citizens), Candor (honest citizens), Erudite (intellegent citizens), and Abnegation (selfless citizens). When the citizens reach the age of sixteen, they choose which faction they belong in based on their personality. They can either choose to depart from their family or stay with them and the faction they came from. The main character Tris has a personality that does not align with any of the factions. She shows an equal display of all factions. She's classified as Divergent. She cannot let anyone know what she is or the government will kill her. I chose this book because it described a world revolving around personality and organizing people into different factions. I am obsessed with personality tests and different character traits. One of the things I see in a solid book or movie is the character development. I think Divergent did an excellent job with developing the characters of the story. I feel as though Tris and Four (another character) are real people. I just appreciate how Veronica Roth creates this concept of defying faction stereotypes. I think this theme can apply even to modern life. In the book, even though Tris and Four were in the faction for the brave people, they possessed other traits such as intelligence, honesty, peacefulness, and selflessness. It's similar to today, just because someone hangs out with athletes, doesn't mean they are athletic or only athletic.

Alongside Alex Jamison they plan to spend a relaxing time with Alex's siblings. They then learn that you should never make plans after Decker and Alex uncover the truth behind the seemingly quiet town. Murder. This book appealed to me so much due to the twists and turns. Decker's career started with Football and a smack to the head. At the end of this book it is also a concussion that might end it. This book also was emotional which is something I cannot deal with yet appreciate. If you have time read this book and the books after it. If you like crime then I highly suggest it.

This book is based on a boy named Greg. When he was young he watch this TV show that talks about a man getting famous without even knowing it for his whole life. He believes that they are doing the same to him. He does some funny stuff to make his audience bored and entertained. He thinks the camera are in fly watching him do the stuff so if he sees a fly he would do some funny things. Id say he loves to act and maybe in the future be a actor. after that fly conspiracy he now believes that aliens are now watching him. when his younger brother was born he also believes that his brother was now the main character in the show and not him. As he got older he would make conspiracy about his mother and father recording him for the show or being some type of robot and one time he splash his dad with then he got grounded. over time passed by he didn't really believed it anymore and just gave up on it and dreamed about being an actor. He went to college trying to get a career trying to be an actor and he successfully did it.
This book was really great to me it had funny humor that i like ad was even boring. Every page bad some sort of fun and funny story in it. In the future i am seeing myself to read more books like these.

The book “Ready Player One” falls under the fantasy/science fiction genre and takes place in a computer game called the OASIS. It is the future, the year 2045, where the world is in an energy crisis, overpopulation and unemployed. The OASIS is where the people of the world escape. I did like the book, especially the computer video game paradise parts and the pop culture stuff in the book, but some of the problems are disturbing. There is a lot of violence in this world that people are trying to escape.
