Scout is not a reliable narrator. Because she is so young, she sees many complex issues as black and white, when there are actually many shades of grey. She is a bit hot-headed and defensive which sometimes causes her to skew the truth with her own opinions. She is a funny narrator, but at this point, she is not completely reliable.
