History has proven itself to be very important to different walks of life. Whether it be throughout school or moving on to university, even going into the work force, history provides essential skills for certain jobs outside of simply teaching the subject and teaches valuable lessons learned from the past. Journal articles have looked at the influences of history and its importance outside of its own area, alongside outside influences interfering with history curriculums and serving as a backdrop for the analysis of learning styles. Although the research gap identified is the importance of history in the workforce.

Assignment 2 had me construct a document which within I identified a research gap within the articles I had gathered from AS1.I found that it was slightly more challenging than the previous assignment, although I certainly found it useful, I had not done something like this in sixth form, and it will certainly prove useful for future. The experience overall the positive one and I will intend to carry the experience I gained over into other assignments. Planned improvements include a more thought out draft plan that adhered better with the lessons and to do more outside of lessons.
