The Boulder Beach Penguins are endangered. My sea birds are taking their eggs when they want to go in the water. So, if they go in the water, they will lose their eggs. Also, global warming is melting the ice.
Design Challenge Question: How can I design and build a shelter that reduces heat transfer and keeps my ice cube penguin from melting?

In the demon trays, the metal tray was cooler so we made sure to only use aluminum because i reflects. Also, the metal spoon melted the ice cube penguin faster. We didn't use any black because it is a conductor from the Black Roof lab. And we tried making our house tall so the heat would rise from the attic vs. floor lab.

We decided to use aluminum and white foam. This is because they were the best insulators. The aluminum is the base of the house and it forms the cone. The white foam is the form of a cone around the base.

We added way more foam. Luckily, the foam was half off, so we got two pieces instead of one. It was very challenging to try to cover up all of the tiny little holes. We didn't want any warm air to get in. We lost... about 43%. One thing that went wrong was we put the foam on the outside, when we should've put it on the inside. If we tested again, we would've put the foam on the inside. :(
