]]> 2020-07-23 22:10:02 UTC https://padlet.com/sarastoler/fcbeug3o0kcylxfq/wish/661368931 p00009763 https://padlet.com/sarastoler/fcbeug3o0kcylxfq/wish/661369476 I completely agree with Luis Molls about visiting in the home with the students and parents.  I have learned so much from my students and their families.  We are an all ELL campus with 23 countries represented.  One of the first journals they write is to explain what about their culture they will always pass down to the their children.  Most have one or more traditions which they want for their children to always celebrate.  Especially their language.  They want their children to speak English but also their Mother tongue.
