         <description><![CDATA[<p>Curipod is a website that helps teachers and students create engaging content that allows for collaboration within the classroom. With this tool, a teacher can submit a presentation and create an interactive feature where students can interact within the presentation. </p><p>From a teacher perspective, this can be used to add assessment points within the presentation. As you are giving a presentation on the accounting equation, there can be checkpoints where students are given stimulating questions and enriching content to get their minds thinking. You could create or use a pre-existing slideshow and add it to Curipod. with this, you can deliver the content required but also engage your students with prompting questions and activities that Curipod creates in your slideshow.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>GIMKIT is a website tool that allows for information and content to be put into a format where students can play games to learn. </p><p>As a teacher, this tool can be useful in getting students excited and engaged in learning. For example, if we have been going over content for the last 2 weeks and have a business test coming up on Friday, this tool can be used to help students review the content. Instead of a review sheet or study paper, students can log on to GimKit and play games to review the material. Business questions that could appear on their test can be asked in fun and entertaining ways so that students can retain the information. </p>]]></description>

This can be helpful for reviewing before a test or some type of project. It is fun for students because there is a leaderboard and other features that make it competitive. This would be a great tool for introducing a topic in business. If you are introducing a lesson about advertising internationally, you could create a Kahoot that asks questions about different cultural standards and norms that may be different from those in the U.S. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Padlet is a great resource that allows students to create their own post board that they can share with students and teachers to display their ideas, projects, and pretty much anything they want. Much like the tech tool project I am doing right now, students have control over how they set up their Padlet and can design it for their liking. For a business class, this would be extremely beneficial. For an entrepreneurship class, the students could create their own Padlet page that acts as a portfolio or personal storage page where they can put resources they have found during the semester. The students could find certain blogs or entrepreneurs that they liked and put their resources in one place that is easily accessible. </p>]]></description>

What is nice about this tool is that the results are instant and can give important feedback in the middle of a lesson. With this tool, I could have it within my lessons to create a strategic break point where I can assess my students and they can have a small break that lets them play a game or answer some short questions to help gauge their information retention.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Plickers is a tool that allows for fast and efficient assessment in the classroom. Students have custom QR codes on their desks that they can hold up to give a particular answer for a question depending on the direction of the QR code. With this method, students can give answers anonymously and there will be a display of the percentages for each answer (A, B, C, D). I could use this in my BMIT classroom by placing these questions in my presentations so that I can assess the students learning as I am going through the slides and revisit tough topics if the students do not answer well.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>With Quizalize, quizzes and tests can be created to form easy and efficient exit tickets for students to assess student learning. Quizalize also offers an AI powered quiz tool that allows you to put in prompts or questions and it will create testable questions that you can use. What is nice about this feature is that it creates multiple questions and you can pick and choose the ones that work for you and edit them to best suit the students. I could see myself using this in my classroom because I could ask the AI to create real world scenarios that allow the students to apply what they learned in class. For example, I might ask the AI to create a question bank about what target audience would be best for an outdoor equipment shop to target in a suburban area.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

For this project, I would assign students to groups and have them make a ConceptBoard that they can all collaborate on. This would be an easy area where I could also have access so I can follow their progress and even give insight or advice as well. Students could brainstorm a new entrepreneurial product or business plan and use the ConceptBoard to track progress and ideas.</p>]]></description>

One of the interesting features was the confusion barometer which shows the level of understanding from the class as students can ping if they are not understanding a concept without physically raising their hand or asking questions. With this tool, more students would be prone to showing confusion because they would not be embarrassed to raise their hands or ask a question because it would remain anonymous. </p>]]></description>

With this tool, they can create a infographic that looks like a social media post or a video that summarizes their learning in a creative style. This way, they can creatively present their findings in a way that is different from answering a question prompt or selecting the right box. For my classroom, I would have students create a post or video where they can display the things they have learned or created in the class. This way, they can visually articulate their learning process instead of just giving a written answer.</p>]]></description>

One of the tools is a custom chatbot where you can input certain criteria or prompts so that the AI acts as something of your choosing. With this tool, students could have the chatbot act as a hiring manager at a tech company or the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. This way, students can practice answering questions in real-time and getting instant feedback.</p>]]></description>
