Reasons: Students need to let out all of their confined energy after a long day of school. Teachers could be on recess duty to make sure everybody is safe and nobody gets hurt. 
2. Try to find other students that agree with you for extra persuasion.
3. Students need to get exercise for 60 minutes a day. Doing 30 minutes of recess would give kids exercise and some fresh air. Being confined in a classroom doesn't help students.
4. Have safer playground equipment for children. Maybe even do an election or school vote.
