Caregiver burnout can be avoided by feeling empowered and focusing on what you can control. Practicing acceptance, embracing your caregiving choice, staying organized, and finding the positive aspects of caregiving can help reduce stress. Seek help from friends, family, or respite services, and be open to delegating tasks. Take breaks to recharge, prioritize your own health, and use relaxation techniques. Join a caregiver support group or talk to a therapist that will provide emotional support and valuable insights.
