It is more likely for bacteria to be found on the bottom of a shoe than a locker lock, door knob, and bathroom sink handle because the bottom of a shoe comes in contact with everything you walk over and the other three objects get washed at least every so often while that is the opposite for the bottom of a shoe.

Bacteria are naturally found in dirty areas like in soil and in bathrooms. The bacteria got to that location from being moved by other organisms and then dropping them of their. What makes the bacteria present is a constant food source which will lead to reproducing which will make the bacteria even more present than before.
