letters I got (unfortunately it was not possible to do it all this way) but in my most successful letter C, I got make the letter with an entire person.
In the afternoon the C was chosen for me, I looked for old school tatto and rococo typefaces because they both had serifs and it reminded me of the ends of my C photo (which were hands and feet) to build some variations of typography based on the photo , I also did the middle of the thickest letter to resemble the photo.]]> 2018-03-15 23:43:39 UTC https://padlet.com/anaclara_vohs/fc0zspgavd2a/wish/242629935 anaclara_vohs https://padlet.com/anaclara_vohs/fc0zspgavd2a/wish/242631379 For the stencil design I continued with the rococo line with serifs but I was not successful in printing because I did not have affinity with the material so the print was not well centered first and then by the amount of ink the stencil became fragile making the shape not well defined,for next time the use of a more resistant paper improves the result.
In roll printing I simplified my stencil to more graphic elements and used a thicker paper, which enabled me to use the stencil more often to create a repeating element that was visually interesting executed with green paint, after that exprimentation I got the C that came out the stencil and I used it to print its outline that gave a more definite result than in what I got in using the stencil,I liked very much the qualities of the ink that we use, that allows a series of variations changing the color of the base paper that are very beautiful, the inks have very interesting colors by themselves.
