Here is a piece of advice to create a new account and log in:

visit the registration page: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/learning-designer/register.php
double-check whether you are typing your email address correctly
fill in ALL the mandatory text fields. If you skip any mandatory field, the form shows a message next to the missing field and won’t let you register until all the mandatory fields are filled in.
read carefully and comply with the acceptance criteria to create your username and password
be mindful when you chose your username and password: you need to type them again to log in. For your convenience, let your browser save them for you.
repeat these steps in another browser if the registration fails
immediately after registration, visit the inbox and the spam folder of your email: activation / confirmation messages last only briefly
visit this page to log in: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/learning-designer/home.php
if you followed this step-by-step advice, and still cannot use Learning Designer, contact us via the helpdesk where we can follow up on your case individually. The same problem can have multiple root causes!
