Ukraine is located in Eastern Europe. It borders Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. It’s the largest country in Europe! It’s total area is 603,628 sq. km.,  it’s nearly 3 times the size of Ukraine and beats the 2nd biggest country, France by 50,000 sq. km. The whole country is divided into 24 oblasts or counties. Kyiv is the largest one of all 24 counties and is the capital.

  9. Lebanon is the smallest recognized country on the entire mainland Asian continent.
  10. Lebanon ranks the highest among the other countries in the Arab world in Human Development Index and GDP per capita.

The world’s deepest metro station is located in Ukraine’s capital - Kyiv! It goes as deep as 105.5 meters below the ground. The station is called Arsenalna and it was built during the Cold War era as there were scares of nuclear bombs. But today during a more peaceful time it remains open for everyone!
