What I learned in the module about the form of Painting as a Fine Art

I learned that there are more components to a painting than figures and brush strokes. I learned, through this module, terms like 'Chiaroscuro' and how it uses great contrasts of dark and light shades in a Painting. I recently learned about the technique on having different strengths of light, or value, for the foreground, middle ground, and background—a technique used for emphasizing what the artists wants to emphasize.

There is more to a Painting than just the brush strokes. Most of the time, Paintings are left open for different interpretation, and that's what astonishes me.

I would like to learn about the precision of Painting, and how painters are able to estimate and resemble non-abstract art so closely to real life, including the tiniest of details, from the wrinkles and emotions seen on the face, to the garment and other elements found on the figures in each painting.

Back then, Painting was a form of art in which the painter would use brushes and brush strokes with different medium to create an image on a blank canvas, and image that was envisioned beforehand.
