Italy were separate into two different parts: North and South. There were many reasons to unify Italy including the history, religion, language, and geography. There were also many reasons to not unify Italy including church oppositions, disagreement on government, and low literacy. During Italy's unification, the three founding fathers were Mazzini, Cavour, and Garibaldi. In the beginning of the unification, Italy's government was not stable. To stabilize the democracy, they went to war to claim more land surrounding Italy.

In 1824 Pedro dismissed Bonifacio and after months of debate over the constitution he sent troops into the Constituent Assembly and dissolved.

Mexico was under Spain control and were divided into races. This was for independence was a conflict that resulted in Mexico independence. The miliary forced entry into Mexico. Mexico went to war winning areas that Spain controlled. Mexico's government was unstable after winning there independence but after going to war with other countries, they stabilized the government.

Miguel was a Roman Catholic priest and a revolutionary leader who is called father of Mexican independence. Hidalgo is best remembered from his speech, "Grito de Dolores", which is called for the end of Spanish colonial rule in Mexico.
