To walk the oregon trail it would take about 4 to six months. It was a very long journey and a very dangerous one too.Emigrants feared death from a lot of different causes on the trail like lack of food and water, indian attacks also accidents or some rattlesnakes bites were a problem too but the number one killer were diseases. The most dangerous disease were those spread around by poor sanitary conditions and personal contact. They would also have to deal with weather and it was very hard since they were riding on wagons.

There is a lot of differences obviously the united states would not be as big as it is now and would not have a lot of land.Mexico would be a lot bigger and have a lot more land. The United States would also not have as many states.66% of what is the united states right now would be mexico. The states that would be mexico's and not the united states are Texas,New mexico,California,Utah,Nevada,Arizona,Colorado that is a whole of 7 states that were taken from mexico.Mexico is way smaller now compare to how it used to be.

In the 1830's in Texas something big was happening that took a lot of rights or you could say freedom. These people in 1830 that were in texas were getting there own rights in what they believe in getting taken away from them but specifically in religion. They were getting taken Freedom of Religion.During this time texas was part of mexico so about 25,000 Americans that lived in texas were required to become mexican citizens and become catholic. All the Americans were forced and had to follow the mexico law.And once Americans complained Mexico decided to close Texas to further american immigration.

Child labor was a big thing back then and something that companies and corporations took advantage of. This labor that came from children was a form of cheap labor meaning that these kids were being exploited and paid very little for all their hard work. Child labor was also very dangerous as it caused a lot of harm to the kids both physically and mentally. This all made it very difficult for kids to have a normal childhood and because of child labor kids couldn't go to school or there education was limited because they were to hung up on having to do child labor.

Women could not attend Collage there privilege and right to be able to go to collage and get a education was taken from them! They also could not serve on juries or to enter professions such as medicine or law. Many women try to change this and tried to fight for there rights and freedom to be return to them.To this day there's a lot going against women like getting body shamed men or other people telling them what to do.Women have always and I think will continue to be treated poorly and be thought as low compared to men!

In my opinion the north had a better strategy than the south because firstly is was way more detailed and you could tell there was more thought into it than the south did.The one the south's strategy was a little to simple and i felt like they thought that they didn't have to put a lot of effort into there plan because they thought they would win but the north took pro cation. The north included different possibilities and made actual damage not like the south that there plan was just to defend until the north got tired and did not take pro cation on what could happen plus the north have better weapons so they didn't think of that So overall I think the north had a better well thought out strategy.

I think that the north had way better weapons and there are very specific reasons to my opinion.Firstly the weapons for south were Ironclads and that was it but the north had Rifles and deadly canons overall the weapons on the north were way better and stronger but that is mainly because they had a very big advantage that was that on there turf and were the north was all the weapons and different things were made so all the new and improved things were on the north side so they had them so that means the north got new weapons and they worked better. On the other hand it was not the same for the south they did not have new weapons there were older and weren't as high tech and worked as good as the ones for the north. So overall the north beat the south in having better weapons!
