I volunteer at the horse barn that I took lessons at for 15 years and every week I feel like I get to go home for a few hours and it makes my heart so very happy! <3

My students and I were having a rough time this morning,with behaviors. By 1:30pm they started to come together as a class and help each other. Even on our not so good days, we love on each other.

I had a nice and relaxing weekend. I spent some time finishing up homework and I also got a lot of cleaning done around my apartment. I spent some time visiting with my mom and that was a great adventure :)

I started this school year with a first grade classroom before moving to fifth grade. Fifth grade has definitely had a few more challenges than the first graders. One of the first graders saw me walking in the hall in the morning before everyone was going to class, ran up to me, and gave me a big hug. Little did she know, I needed that hug! Made my whole day!

My son was awarded a Merit Scholarship of $6000 a year @ Belmount University, only after they said he was not eliigible. God said it shall be done! He will be an awesome man of God!

Thankful for being able to be in school at Alverno for something I am passionate about. Also being able to work my dream job here with awesome student-athletes!

Grateful to celebrate 100 days of school today and Valentine's Day! Although it sounded like it might be one crazy hectic Monday, it actually turned out to be one of the best Mondays ever! The kids were all well behaved and loved our activities we had planned today!
