The Atlantic Charter was held with the United States (Roosevelt) and Great Britain (Churchill) in order to discuss what would occur after the war. This would lead the way for the creation of the UN which would decide the "policing" forces of the world as well as generate ideas on how to rebuild the broken economies caused by the war.

Yalta Conference's main idea was the division of Germany into 4 zones and to discuss the reparations that they would pay for the damage they had done against the allies. There was also discussion of a non-communist government to be set up in Poland and free elections in eastern Europe that Stalin had agreed to.

The Potsdamn Conference was meant to establish a conclusion on what to do with Germany's military and reconstruction. However, Russia began abandoned his promises as he began to spread communism after breaking his promises on free elections and the incarceration of the non-communist leader of Poland.

With the spread of communism traveling, the Truman Doctrine was meant to contain it by supplying financial and military support to other democratic countries like Greece and Turkey. If the United States allowed communism to spread further it would only get increasing harder to stop what would become a new world power which would lead to a WWIII that could not happen for the sake of the world.

East Berlin was a small area of eastern Europe that was being protected by the United States in the backyard of Russia control. Russia decided to cut off the railroad that was sending in resources to eastern Berlin which became known as the Berlin Blockage which failed to work as the United States began transferring resources via "air lifts".

With the destruction of many European countries, their economies were shattered making it much more likely to turn to communism in order to save their own lives. In order to prevent this, the United States enacted the Marshall plan so that these countries can trust in capitalism, they would pump money into the economies to rebuild the countries in economic and social depression.

NATO was created in order to create a collective defense against the Soviet Union if they were to bring about a war. The countries that agreed to join the treaty organization were: Canada, England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and the United States.

The Chinese Communist Party had won the civil war against the occurring Nationalist party. With the CCP's victory in China, communism would begin to spread as they allied with Russia which would put the United States into panic as they now have to focus on both Asia and Europe in the defense against the spread.

The NSC-68 was a threat to Russia and the communist powers of the world that the United States would use force (atomic bombs and military action) if they did not stop spreading their ideologies across the world. It was clear that Russia would not stop because of a simple threat made which would eventually lead to intervention by means of economic, political, and psychological warfare across seas.

After the division of Korea into North and South Korea, the United States wanted a united government in which the USSR did not agree with. As Stalin convinced the leader of North Korea to invade South Korea, Communism had spread which eventually would lead to the United States and its allied forces to push back the communist virus back into North Korea which is known as The Korean War.
