2) Parents could disagree with values being taught to children by their teachers, or could disregard cultural values or understandings of character if the teacher is from a different cultural background.

3) Public school is a tricky avenue to navigate, but showing and embodying rather than telling our values to students is a step. Also, public school should not change our philosophy or understanding of how each human child is created.

Teachers have the biggest impact on students because it is part of the curriculum. Because you are teaching this in the classroom, you are able to model and show the students what to do. Teachers are the leaders of the class so the students are going to listen to what you say. 
2. It could be troubling because parents may not agree with what you are teaching. Also, there are many different things to teach so trying to find the right thing is a difficult thing to do. 
3. In public schools, it may be limited on what you can say, but you can model how to act and behave to your students. You can show them the characteristics that make a good person and a good Christian. 
4. I learned that students academic achievement is benefited. Students are mote motivated to learn, this seems like it helps in more ways than I

2. Differing opinions about what values should be taught and how character traits should be conveyed by parents, teachers, and school administration could be troubling when teaching values and character.

As Christian educators, within public schools though this is more difficult to navigate in what you can or cannot say it is important that we see and treat our students as created in the image of God, model Christian character and values in how we teach and how we treat students, and seek to be redemptive educators in how we teach and how we treat students.

Teachers impact their students in tremendous ways. In their interactions with students, sometimes a student can take some of the teacher's values, thoughts, and beliefs. Not only that, but the teacher's style can impact how the student prefers to learn. 
2. I think the hardest part with this topic is that there are a myriad of opinions as to what morals are, as well as how they should be taught by the teachers, parents, etc. 
3. If I am teaching in a public school I plan on holding fast to my Christian morals and beliefs. Because it is a public school and the relation between public schooling and Christianity is one that is faltering, I may not be able to formally declare that, but my actions will show that I stick to my Christian values.
4. I learned that when this is taught and prioritized, students often become more motivated to put more effort into their studies.
