         <title>What type of religious community did you choose to virtually visit?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em><mark>https://isb.org/</mark></em></strong><br>I visited the religious community named Islamic Society of Baltimore. This communal religious meeting takes place in the mosque Al-Rahman. This organization is funded by the mosque which is located in Catonsville, MD. "ISB aspires to be the anchor of a growing Muslim community with diverse backgrounds, democratically governed, relating to one another with inclusiveness and tolerance, and interacting with neighbors in an Islamic exemplary manner. ISB’s vision is to be a model Muslim community that fosters inclusiveness, vibrancy, education, and creativity for the future generations of Muslims" (“About Us – Islamic Society of Baltimore”).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Islamic society of Baltimore welcomes people of any race, faith and background to  join their community. Anyone can be a participants as long they are respectful toward the religion and follows the requirements to enter the mosque. You must be clean and free of dirt. Your cloths must cover up to your arm to your knees and women must not wear any provocative dress that may show their body. ISB offer services such as zakat, clean slate classes, community health clinic, funeral services and much more. They have programs which are: covid funds, Zakat-ul-fitr, astronomy club, club scouts and girl scouts. They offer education inside their mosque such as: k-12 school, Quran academy, nursery, community learning center and Sunday school. There are various ways that participants in the community can get involved. They can subscribe to the mailing list, register to become a member and join the community connection. They have prayer calendar which can help you keep you up to date on the current prayer time which changes everyday. Participants can download ISB app on their phone for quick information. You can also sign up to volunteer when ISB holds their weekly events to get involved. There is a yearly membership fee of $240 but it is optional to be part of the community.          <title>What is the organization of the religious meeting? Are there specific parts to it? What, if any, texts and music are used?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ISB holds weekly meetings in their Al-Rahman mosque which is also live streamed through their website. In these gatherings,  there are 1 to 2 preachers on stage talking about different subject related to Islam. They ask the crowds questions and listen to their answers. Someone can also ask question to the speaker. This kind of interaction is present throughout almost all the videos. It is captured as a livestream and uploaded for the community to see if they are not able to attend it at the Mosque. During these gatherings, the visitors are told about the new donation opportunities and the upcoming events for the next week. ISB has a strong social media outreach from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube  which helps the members of the community keep up with the latest news and events.<br>The organization is based on Sunni Muslim tradition. They They believe that Muhammad was the final prophet and he was chosen by Allah to deliver the final messages to humans. Allah is one and only god. Only Allah should be worshiped. The Sunni Islam developed over the argument of the succession of Muhammad in the year 632 A.D. Sunni Muslims believe in the 5 pillars of Islam. They believe that there's no god other than Allah and Mohammad is the messenger. Muslims prays 5 times a day. They give out charity which is known as zakat. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast for 1 month straight. Once someone hits puberty, they are required to fast. They celebrate eid al fitr and eid al adha every year but the date for both changes yearly. </div>]]></description>
