Purchase laptops for all former refugee students - Yr 11-13. Use govt funding to buy these. (All families are part of the Computers in Home programme ... they learn how to use computers, are given a computer and free internet access for a couple of years.)

Have some picture books depicting images of the countries migrant/former refugees are from in the classroom. Or little decorations/posters or ornaments which represent the cultures in the class. That will provide something familiar in the first weeks of school.
