We get freedoms and rights such as freedom of speech and press, freedom of religion, the right to assemble, and the right to petition government because as an American WE ARE FREE! We have the freedom to pursue “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  We get the chance to be involved with this country by voting and serving for our county.
