He was the head of his household as a teen and was enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1794, and by 1800 he was promoted to captain. He has studied with many scientists and is always prepared. He would be a great person to take on an Exploration that would be full of science and nature.

It is round and full of purple and pinks. The center is white and the stem is very thin. I think the corps would have thought highly of this plant since it was very colorful and fairly big in size. This plant can help the American people because it can be used as a medicine to relieve sore throat. It can also neutralize poison Ivy rash. This is a helpful plant that if full of color and interesting to learn about.

This is a large fish that is a mixture of brown and grey shades. It has whiskers and a white belly. I think the corps would be very  interested when they saw this fish since it was so big. It could be a very healthy food source for the American people. It is a good source of protein and includes lots of nutrients. This type of fish is very interesting and could benefit many people.

Teepees were easy to break down and set back up. They lived in the Northern Plains in Montana. The main food for the Blackfoot came from the bison. They occasionally hunted deer, elk, and rabbit. When they first met Lewis and Clark things were good until, the Blackfoot found out that Lewis and Clark would be giving guns to their enemies. The Blackfoot didn't like that idea at all so they tried to steal the guns so Lewis and Clark couldn’t give the other tribes the weapons. Lewis and Clark figured it out and ended up killing some of the people in the Blackfoot tribe. After that the Americans and the Blackfoot people were enemies.
